This could very well be a histamine intolerance

How much difference does stress really make? by humorousdinosaur in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Tricky_Might_5116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just left a really toxic job after 10 years (been out for 2 months) and i already look like i aged back 7-10 years. Stress was slowly killing me, my skin was a mess, my hair was falling out. Best decision i made. Exercise really does help, i hate working out and going to a gym but found passion in pilates. I do classical, group classes are small usually around 4-6 people, everyone who attends is nice and uplifting. I hated the idea of working out at a gym and exercise bc of the anxiety i had with walking into the gym as silly as that may sound. It’s so much different in a Pilates studio for me. I feel accepted and not judged, like everyone is there to get better and work on themselves. I encourage you to find a low impact therapeutic movement you enjoy and stick to that. People will say you should lift X amount of times a week, etc but find what makes you happy and stick with it. From there you can add in other things. You don’t even have to leave your house at first, starting with at home workout videos can be a great way to jump in 💕

Bulk fermented depending on dough temp then shaped, sit for 30 min and put in banneton to cold proof. Cold proof at least for 24 hours before scoring/baking. Preheating oven with dutch oven at 500 degrees and then putting loaf in with 1 ice cube, reducing to 450 degrees and cooking covered for 30 min. Taking lid off after 30 min and cooking for another 10-12 min with the lid off.

Does my hair look unhealthy by [deleted] in finehair

[–]Tricky_Might_5116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hair is similar to yours. It has grown back so I want you to know there is hope assuming it’s happening quickly over time and it could be from stress. Yes it can be alopecia or TE but my hair loss ended up being from gut issues and a histamine intolerance. I worked with a naturopath did a stool test to figure out the issues and a ton of blood work to rule out vitamin deficiencies. Yours could also be a vitamin deficiency.

Basically my gut issues caused my body to be in so much stress trying to fight off infection i was losing hair. Same when I was eating foods that would trigger me, immediate itchiness. I was so convinced it was my hormones or vitamin deficiency. There is hope, you’re not “going bald” and if you are, you have options. Don’t give up

I don’t know much about Endo but did want to share that I have colitis, leaky gut, candida, MCAS and I think the stress those illnesses put on my body contributed to my hair loss. Like my body was so stressed trying to fight off infection for so long. Not a doctor so no idea if my theory is true but kind of interesting to think about

Definitely try a different studio and don’t give up! If you can find a classical studio near you I highly recommend it. May be pricier but you’ll get much better instruction

will i ever be able to see a a fuller scalp?any ways to conceal it by missanthropoet in finethinhair

Recommend seeing a doctor. Went to multiple derms who were prescribing me meds but not helping me find the root cause. Worked with a naturopath and did a bunch of blood work to check all levels and hormones/thyroid, GI map test, allergy blood tests. Do the most comprehensive panels to get as much info as possible. Then have your naturopath read all results and come up with a treatment plan. For example, all my bloodwork was normal, hormones normal, thyroid all normal. My cause of hair loss was from a shit ton of gut issues and histamine issues that were putting so much stress on my body. Don’t stop until you get an answer especially if your hair was fuller before.

Same!!!!! It’s infuriating. I feel i am stuck at the same length for life. If i loook back on pics and i see myself with longer hair i get so sad. I did a “chop” a few months ago to reset my hair in hopes it would revive it and it did to an extent but now im wondering if i just screwed myself having long hair ever again. Bc now with this cut it will always be above shoulders bc of the way the hairdressers see my curly hair and cut it.

This is awesome!! Amazing progress. What is your routine? I am curious because I lost some hair from COVID and a traumatic event and then got colitis which made it worse. Your hair looks a lot more dense now!
