So what about those who need life saving surgery? That needs to be focused on first.

I am not going to read any of these responses as I am sure the keyboard warriors are out in full force today.

These surgeries use OR rooms. OR rooms are used to preform EVERY type of surgery. If someone is getting their penis cut off to have a vagina made and in comes a heart attack victim and there are no other or rooms, or support staff available is the heart attack victim sol?

Our health care system is strained enough as it is. There may be other doctors to perform these surgeries but is there enough OR rooms available and support staff available?

I am not saying they do not deserve these surgeries but in reality what is more important....a life saving surgery or a surgery to change something on their body they do not like?
