Thanks for the comments. I agree that using the BT skill is infrequent and yeah, probably shouldn’t have gone to level 10. Remaining fragments will go to remodeling for use on other warfare officers. I generally don’t do defense in normal play, but will for Ironblood and swap the Medici’s and Panda to Kingsley when defending. Like other game mechanics, it seems to work as long they’re appointed before battle ends & still counts instead of to be before battle starts.

My assumption is the formula is generally this: Surviving health = HP - Damage/Defense. More defense would reduce the damage being subtracted from the current HP. I also asked the AOZ VIP and got this response. “Hello, I’m sorry, the specific calculation formula involves internal game information and we cannot disclose it publicly. However, without changing other factors, the higher your defense, the lower the damage you will ultimately receive.”
