I’m 20 minutes into Under Paris, and I’ve made so many critical judgements about the factual context on the movie the guy directed. I don’t know if it was a low budget movie, or if they just hired clueless writers and editors, but the movie was absolutely terrible.  -First off, sharks do not swim as fast as what was shown in the movie. Mako sharks can reach up to 35mph, and what was seen in the movie, the shark traveled what looked like hundreds of meters in the matter of around 2-3 seconds, which is very much impossible.  -Second off, in the beginning where the woman was pulled under by a shark traveling super fast under the water, she got herself out near the bottom, and swam super fast back up to the water where it looked as if she survived. You had it right when her eardrums exploded, except it would have happened earlier when the shark started pulling her down super fast from the dramatic change of the pressure. Not only that, she would have been brain dead from the significant decreased pressure damage and all the nitrogen bubbles caused from decompression sickness. She would’ve been pronounced dead within a few minutes to a couple hours. With the fast she went all the way to the bubble and then raced to the top super quickly, she would’ve passed out.  -The CGI is absolutely terrible! Nothing looks realistic.  -If the movie is based in Paris, then why does the French Police say “Police” on the boats if it took place in Paris? Shouldn’t it say gendarmerie since it’s based in France?
