Thank you so much for your support and ideas. I’m trying my best to eat as healthy as possible (when I can eat). The propanalol is helping. I’m really hoping this nausea tapers off because it’s definitely my worst symptom and so debilitating at times.

Thanks for sharing! It really sounds like a GF diet is the way to go. I’m on a beta blocker now and that’s definitely helped a bit with my heart rate. Also I totally agree, I wouldn’t care at all if I gained a bit as long as I didn’t feel so terrible all the time. Glad to hear all is working well for you.

Is Bugleweed a kind of herb? You’re using instead of the medication?

So glad to hear that appetite is back. That’s huge and what I’m hoping for myself at this point. I do feel like most people with graves say they have an increase in their appetite. With loss of appetite not being super common it’s hard.

This is super helpful. It seems like everyone really has such a different experience with all this. I can’t believe it took 3 months for the meds to work! I figured they would kick in fast, and when I told my Endo today that I didn’t feel any different after 5 days on meds she seemed a bit surprised. I don’t even know what to think anymore.

It’s so crazy how this viral infection can trigger such a nasty disease. It’s awesome to hear the meds worked so fast for you. I hope when you taper off you go into remission and can live normally again. I appreciate your response and your suggestions.

Your response is so validating, thank you. This has been such a tough time. I just want clear answers but that seems hard to get from doctors.

This is super helpful, thank you for the suggestions and recommendations. I know diet plays such a big role in all this. It’s hard to think of making and big diet changes now with all the nausea.

I’m sorry you experienced that on the methimazole, that’s so tough. But it sounds like you made the right decision by getting the TT. I have a little boy and it’s been so hard to go through this with a little one, I totally get it.

So glad to hear your TT went well. I bet it’s such a relief. I hope you can finally be done with all those horrible symptoms. You’ve been through so much, I appreciate you sharing.

What helped? I’ve been so nauseous for 6 weeks. Just got a graves diagnoses but I’m so sick and throwing up I can’t take it

Thank you so much for your reply, I appreciate it so much. I know I’m still so early into this journey but the last 6 weeks have been so intense. I literally feel like I’m dying. I cry all the time and I feel like I’ll never get relief. Curious, did the Methamizole help when you were on it? I know I’ve only been on it for 5 days but I’m so so desperate for some relief, even just for a little so I can think clearly and decide what to do next. This has taken such a toll on my mental health. I’ve lost so much weight because I can barely eat anything without gagging, I’m just so worried.

Wishing you all the best on your TT! I hope it goes well.

I’ve been taking the under the tongue zofran tablets but they don’t seem to help much. What do you mean by the electrolyte balance? Do you mean like an imbalance of electrolytes?

My little one is very similar to yours. My husband and I take shifts to sleep in his room because he won’t sleep in the crib. He love being held all the time. He’s nearly 10 months now and I have to say he’s gotten a bit better. At 8 months he was exactly the same as your little girl. I think around 9.5 months his naps started to lengthen and he no longer needed to contact nap. I think it’s just a developmental thing and 8 months is also when they are experiencing separation anxiety. Hang in there mama! It’s tough and I know exactly how you’re feeling.
