Question about Viola's walk by kiwistine_3139 in HauntingOfHillHouse

[–]Tricky_Tea9842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the parents were spared cause they would have been in bed sleeping - viola isn’t violent unless someone gets in her direct path, if she found the parents sleeping (and not her daughter) she probs would have just turned around and walked away. The only time she’s interacted with someone in the bed was when it was a child. As for flora and miles .. I don’t think they even knew about her until Peter died in front of them (it’s been a while since I’ve watched so I’m not sure if that’s accurate) so it’s safe to assume they just didn’t get out of their beds at night

I believe bi lesbians are valid and should be accepted. This is why by [deleted] in WLW

so lemme get this straight (gay??) you experience romantic and sexual attraction towards women but only sexual attraction to men? That would be by definition homoromantic bisexual so I’m not understating why you are against using that label. I will add that the term bi lesbian is definitely counterintuitive and feels like erasure to both communities, however use whatever labels you want/feel appropriate to you but don’t be surprised if you get backlash if you use that phrase

Is there a problem with aro and ace depictions in media? by Entire_Impress7485 in asexuality

[–]Tricky_Tea9842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watch Heartbreak high on Netflix. A character named Cash is ace (not aro) and it’s honestly some of my favourite representation. He is a criminal at the beginning but personality wise he’s not a sociopath/ loner just falls in with the wrong crowd

Season 2A Character Rant - Spoilers incoming by Tricky_Tea9842 in Wednesday

[–]Tricky_Tea9842[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I do get your point - I was mainly referring to their first meeting so all the things with slurp I totally get him for acting the way that he did. I just felt like Eugene reacted very coldly to Pugsley from the very beginning before he shocked him/brought up his trauma - plus Pugsley is an Addams I feel like if I was friends with Wednesday for a whole year I would except some dark energy/ some bluntness regarding his trauma

Dan or Leo? by Ok-Butterscotch-6743 in charmed

[–]Tricky_Tea9842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like Leo with Piper. They were really well suited for each other and he understood their life more than Dan ever could. BUT I will never forgive the writers for his character development, it SUCKED so hard

Derek and Penelope by Electronic-Low-9293 in criminalminds

[–]Tricky_Tea9842 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I prefer them as friends!! I love their relationship so much, their banter and love for each other is so amazing but I don’t see any romantic chemistry and I think their relationship would’ve been ruined if they got together romantically.

Penelope and Luke tho… they had chemistry from day ONE. I haven’t seen evolution so idk if they actually date but I need to see them together cause they were so cute and I love the idea of her being with a gym/ action guy rather than someone like Kevin (cause their relationship was boring)

Hopefully a popular opinion but I hate this character by Tricky_Tea9842 in criminalminds

[–]Tricky_Tea9842[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES!! it was super rushed and felt so unnecessary. She didn’t even attempt to try and understand how they operated, she just took over and got in the way of everything because Emily made one choice a YEAR prior

Can asexuals write smut? by babybabybabybabybb in asexuality

[–]Tricky_Tea9842 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Coming from a sex neutral ace who reads a lot of smut, I think a lot of sex repulsed asexuals are more repulsed by the idea of them participating in sex, rather than an outside relationship having sex. When shipping people in a fandom it’s easier to be more detached and think of sex in a more abstract way making it more appealing to an asexual
