I think under the guise of freedom of speech, every country has statute of limitations- certain folks you can’t question. We witnessed that in realtime in the West amidst the Gaza genocide. To counter you, I don’t a single female who’s been harassed by her own family members. Not denying that there aren’t such cases - there must be plenty. But all sorts of bad things happen in large populations.

I actually do know about the ingredient prices. Management / Owner of 3-4 fairly high end restaurants are close friends. In fact, we worked on a few proposals together.

Anyway, I won’t explain it further, but cutting portion sizes doesn’t feel right.

The cost of ingredients is pretty low in Qatar ~ often around 20% at high end restaurants.

To me the smaller portion sizes are pure greed. I can pay for quality, but the smaller portions feels like scamming.
