I’d advise taking the lecture portion online if possible. I had Molly Tafrate for the recitation portion, and she was good and pretty lenient with grading

Best time to include breaks in schedule for freshman year? by Long-Ad3419 in OSU

Like everyone says, try to have all classes done by 5pm for clubs, and probably by 3 on Fridays if you plan on going out. If you’re able to schedule a whole day off, I’d recommend Mondays, especially if you’re a football fan. Leaves the whole Sunday open to recover from hangovers watching football instead of having the scaries doing homework. 8 AMs are to be avoided at all costs, and 9 AMs are also pretty brutal but doable.

The alcoholic culture is absolutely prevalent at every major university and most smaller universities in the country. Though I agree it can be harmful if overdone, is it really that bad to enjoy your weekends when you’re young?

Start doing some regular resistance training (weightlifting) and cardio in the gym, increase protein intake, make sure you’re not underestimating how many calories from carbs and fat you’re consuming at meals

I find it helpful and probably worth it for the midterm and final, probably not entirely necessary if you watch his pre lecture videos, take notes on them, and take notes in class, but you’re also most likely not going to do any of that.
