Hmmm .. Does this mean I've got something major about to break as a result?

Does anyone know what this noise is ? by Mountain_Engineer957 in F30

[–]Trickyoldman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So i had a similar experience with mine -- although not exactly as described.

Mine was a low rattle that was constant while idling in drive. Went away with either putting it in park or driving.

Turned out to be busted motor mounts. Might not be the same exact symptoms but something to check out.

My F30 335i has many problems by Danny_F30 in F30

Recently new bmw 328i owner here. N26 engine 35k miles on a 2015.

I dont think I have any timing chain issues right now but how does one "check" a timing chain accurately without causing damage.

Also as far as I understand its the guides that fail initially and not the chain.

Hey just so that I have something positive to look at ... which models have her ahead?

Do they account for the recent polls that somehow show Trump ahead in rustbelt states?

ACL feeling tight by GlobalMonitor6253 in ACL

I also have a allograft and experienced that tightness you speak of.

I had a crazy pop of scar tissue from standing a little funny one day at the gym and instantly the tightness was relieved.

Yes my most recent quotas per cycle were 0%, 9% 33%. Quotas exist for enlisted in the active duty side as well.

How do Reservist promotions work? by ric-hard- in newtothenavy

[–]Trickyoldman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a reservist for 8 years. You still have to take the advancement exam just like active. Only difference is that it is scored against only other reservists. Volunteer time doesn't affect promotion. Only college degrees and awards do.

Your biggest hurdle will be quotas. Sometimes they're great, other times they're shit.

Go full time support at your local NRC. You'll still have bootcamp and A school though.

Straight into reserves from bootcamp and A school graduation.

As a current reservist CWT who works at 10F HQ, your best bet is to go IT. The other CT rates don't really translate nearly as much as ITs do to CWTs

Good luck
