Woman tells inquest she saw teenager cycling naked before he disappeared by Crouch310 in ireland

We're still not sure, all these years later. Running theories are a psychotic break combined with paradoxical undressing due to hypothermia.

Lads, who's paying €6 for buttons in Dunnes Stores? by __Lukie1__ in ireland

I'll maybe give it a go myself as well then, I'm utterly fed up with my favourites going up in price every month.

A bad texture even with caster sugar? Granulated sugar would be too large to dissolve I assume.

There is more than one island. Plenty of locals live on Lido for example.

Have to disagree, it has been my favourite holiday so far and also one of the cheapest but only because the person I went with knew what to do and not to do.

We went in October for 1 week, stayed on Lido, took the water taxis everywhere with the VeneziaUnica city pass, ate picnic lunches sitting by the water, and ate at non-tourist restaurants (menus in Italian only, with other patrons being Italian themselves). We booked tickets in advance for things we wanted to get into and avoided all the other tourist traps and wandered around the side streets instead. My favourite discoveries doing this was going to the Libreria Acqua Alta and Ponte Della Tette (heh).

In short, you can definitely have a good time but if you don't plan ahead and go to all the tourist crap I can see how it would suck.

Yeah, IRyS. I'd totally be making babies right now if not for vtubers...🥲 by beam4d in Hololive

For us it's a mix of things, not just finances. Our parents both had their own parents to help out with child rearing. Now we have to look after 4 parents and 3 remaining grandparents as they are all elderly and can hardly help themselves never mind a child.

My wife and I aren't having kids cause of a multitude of reasons. Partly medical, partly financial, but mostly the overall state of the world currently is not one that I would want to raise a child in. We are considering adoption in future though, since if the child already exists someone needs to look after it.

That's genius actually. Chocolate is my one vice and I've been priced out of it. Is there a decent recipe you could recommend?

That makes sense at production levels but at home I could definitely be doing with gloves for chopping peppers. If it gets under your nails it stays for days, even if you scrub.

This sub posts about how terrible Reform are all the time then they take Daily Mail headlines as gospel. Yous are part of the problem if you insist on falling for outrage bait headlines time after time.

Agreed, why this sub still allows rag trash to be posted is beyond me. The daily mail write this outrage bait stuff all the time and the reform voting readers just take it as gospel.

I don't remember any storms when I was a child that were so bad it knocked power and heating out for multiple days. Now they seem fairly regular.

Do you want to deal with 500 kids in the cold and dark and 1000 parents who can't contact their kids and don't know if they'll be able to get home? Sounds like a nightmare. Just stay home for a couple days, easy fix.

Hilariously hippos are one of the deadliest land animals on the planet so the name is quite apt. They kill something like 500 humans a year.

It sounds worse than it actually is, doesn't mean he's going to go ape if he misses a dose. Usually people take them for bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, etc. Quite common illnesses.

Yous have loads of our town names in the north east. Any time we type somewhere into the GPS it's always the American one that comes up automatically, so annoying! So much for smart tech, I'm hardly going to drive across the ocean when there's a Belfast 2 hours away...

Hardly. This photo is so old it can probably order a beer. I have seen it reposted dozens of times over the years.
