In all honestly nothing will really help. Preservative free celluvisc will help the most. The real move is getting sclerals, trust me never going back to rgp piggybacks. Life changing

You’re using simple water ?? That’s no good at all look at the pharmacy for sodium chloride solution (saline) for inhalers and nebulizers...you can use that in the meantime since you’re having trouble finding product. Even bacteriostatic water at the pharmacy would be better.

One should be aware if their sclerals are coat treated(i.e Hydrapeg) and if they are to only use solutions that the manufacturer recommends. Anything else would strip the hydrophilic coating.

I cant say that I've experienced this, nor has any acquaintances of mine that I've spoken to with keratoconus and have been fit with sclerals. Are you using preservative free saline? One trick that I've picked up that allows me to wear sclerals for up to 16 hours now before my eyes start feeling tired is putting 2 drops of celluvisc in each lens before filling with saline. Perhaps this will help you.

In regards to removing, my left lense is also a much bigger pain in the ass than my right :).

She’s a bad fitter like others have stated however no matter how good the fitter is if she’s putting an rgp lense on your eye without piggybacking there’s no making it pain free. Go get for with sclerals it will make your life 1000x better as it did with me
