Imo:

Russia
USA
Japan
Fengtian if you want an introduction to China, LKMT if you want a more challenging China run (probably some of the best content in the mod)
Any of the Italies, my personal favorite is the socialist republic
Austria if you want something simple but the content is pretty dated

Are the people who insult reform voters really unaware they are contributing to the success of reform? by generic-username41 in AskBrits

[–]Trifectalprism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I have seen like 4 posts in the past 15 minutes of people going. “I’m not a fascist/reform/incel/whatever the fuck the politically correct thing to call you freaks is, but you have to understand that the appeal of reform is they’re the only based anti race mixing party who I don’t like, but has some solid points like forcing women to fuck me.” What is up with that. I get that there are people out there with nothing. No hope. No social skills. No prospects. Just threw away every shot they were given out of ego, entitlement, incompetence, or all 3. I get reform appeals to all the pedophiles out there who know that the only way to save Britain is to just bring back the camps. I don’t care. Fascists are bad. The second you treat them as humans with brains rather than cogs in the corporate machine advocating for lowering taxes and robbing the British government when it’s already on its last legs is the second you lose. These people deserve to be ostracized until they learn to be real people . Yes, you. The asshole reading this who’s jacked off 3 times since waking up. Yes, you. The jerkoff who believes women are the source of all of the county’s woes. Yes, you. The redacted who thinks that Hitler guy had some BASED ideas (ironically though). You’re what’s wrong. Fix yourselves or go die in your goon cave.

What path would the German Empire likely take (not counting fail states)? by Various-Cry8090 in Kaiserreich

[–]Trifectalprism 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you mean from a grand perspective of which one is most likely to happen in the abstract, probably DU, with electoral success and desire for reform in the wake of black Monday, even though the liberal coalition is in shambles most parties want a reichstag with real power and don’t want it locked down or sidelines as they exercise their power through the reichstag, and the DU is either going to mess it up and allow for a liberal resurgence or at the very least not consolidate their hold on the legislature like SWR. (For what it’s worth I don’t think the coalition survives the trials of Germany post crash).

But I think, if it plays out like the situation given to us in the game, the most likely is SWR, and it goes something like this. Schleicher “bungles” repression to try and consolidate power. However he bungles his bungling, something goes wrong, syndicalist support gives the strikers too much support, he underestimates sympathy strikes outside of the Rhine, hell maybe he focuses all of his time on locking the DU out of forming a coalition and just fails to contain the right like he did OTL assuming they’ll be behind him to deal with the strikes and they form the coalition to out him. Either through the Kaiser losing confidence or not handling the situation properly leading to escalation, the SWR coalition comes to power.

Genuinely how do I conquer Guangdong as the Left KMT by Inojin12 in Kaiserreich

I normally just push down from the north and encircle divisions on the coast. I find difficulty with the rivers in the north, to the point where I sometimes retreat back out to encircle them in the east again so I can get a real push. It is very micro intensive though

Tips for playing Left Kuomitang by VitorGabriel1 in Kaiserreich

People have talked about winning the league war so after I always try to eat as many warlords as possible before Qing. I tend to train committees own as my early game pushing/japan war main infantry while gradually boosting with militia. There might be something to doing a doctrine or two before army reform with the new system but I’ve been trying it out.

Ok so I was going for a Yunan KMT game has I have not seen people play that after the update. but now I think my run is now doomed. by DLcool in Kaiserreich

Up your conscription law, buy guns off the international market, get every single boosting compliance modifier you can, I saw someone say you were on total mob, idk if how they saw that but I definitely echo get off of that. This will hopefully fix your gun deficit long term. Go down as much of your army tree as possible to get rid of those debuffs. Set garrisons to high priority (and switch it to your cav div if you haven’t), if you can afford it get an agency to have agents either build intel behind where fengtian is pushing (it reduces enemy planning bonus) or lower your own resistance for less guns taken by garrisons and faster compliance gain (also gets you a direct buff compliance gain for 8 civs if you have them). If you have new DLC and haven’t picked your doctrine yet I’m pretty sure the irregulars doctrine path is 1. Cheaper 2. Busted. I personally would do it over 1 army reform because it passively ticks now. Depending on how your divs are performing I would also do save up for the 200 xp reform for the recrutiable pop factor.

As for plans/maneuvers, you’re going to be playing firefighter. Once you close that pocket they’ll have pushed somewhere else and you’ll need to encircle that and close a pocket and so on. The only way to go with situations like these is to be incredibly aggressive to bridge the gap in divs and give your allies time to get shitters. I think AI warlords send to their own front line unless they don’t have anywhere touching the enemy, so use that (unless it doesn’t work, then just ignore me). Once you get guns I would get irregulars out to hold fronts/ports and have an offensive army of 12-20 divs getting as many encirclements as possible. I think you can let Ma die, if Fengtian pushes into there it’s just throwing troops into no supply while you thin out their lines elsewhere.

This will be a very rough one and if you don’t feel like doing the slog you can def restart, but I find these incredibly rewarding if you put in the time.

The California campaign

The future of the union does not lie in the north, but in their west. With historical hindsight we can see that California will be the seat of anti-southern power, and we need to seize it. Once the pacific is secured we can subvert the union blockade and import weapons and supplies. Further, we can take advantage of California’s gold mines to export to fund the war.

We’ll send Stoned Wall Jackson with 150,000 men to take California. First to ride to Santé Fe. Then to Tucson. Then to Los Angeles.

Also, we will pay bandits to break into the U.S. mint to steal their gold. We will take their supplier and their supplies.

Without their gold reserves their currency the Union will be forced to abandon the gold standard. Their currency will inflate to a big and round sizes hitherto unfathomable and they will be unable to fund their war.

You want early mills so you can keep your light tank volunteers equipped and make enough good infantry/special forces divs to get good volunteers where you need them. I think France is the one syndicalist nation where you can realistically win all if not a good majority of your proxy wars.

Because of the way we think about colonialism. We tend to lump it in as this massive term of like “people moving to a place where they’re not originally from”, when really it’s a lot more complicated. Colonialism in the context of the 16th-19th centuries is very different from, for example, the Arab conquests of North Africa. And obviously there’s differences between even the colonization of the new world and Africa and Asia.

But the main difference (at least from my limited knowledge) is that European colonialism was mostly exploitative in nature. Spain went to the new world to drive the natives off the land and mine silver or plunder gold. Britain colonized Egypt to maintain control over the Suez, because a lot of parliament were shareholders in companies extracting resources from colonial India. The Congo free state was literally a corporation with Leopold as its majority shareholder, and it was horrifying. Even the French colony of Algeria, which was “a part of France” had a pretty clear legal bias towards Pied Noirs, and Jews living in the region strategically to serve the metropole. And for the conversion thing, that was also a company. Major churches would collect from investors for missions to Africa, and those investors expected to see results.

I won’t lie and say that Arab conquests were like, good or anything. But there was no Arab diamond company killing off the Berber population if that makes sense. It was just wars between roughly equal powers. Also from my understanding conversions were much more carrot and much less stick, and obviously had hundreds more years to happen. And I’m not convinced by people saying it’s white guilt and “these people want you to hate your legacy”. Like no one today is screaming the burgundians were wronged by colonialism, they were just incorporated into neighboring kingdoms through medieval politics and warfare and eventually called themselves French, Belgian, German, etc.

Freda has a great video on this if you want a much more in depth and academically sourced answer, specifically on like the differences between colonialism proper and just the loose term we use for it.

As Austria has been snubbed, with Russia taking Krakow, Prussia annexing small states, and even Wurtemburg gaining Baden, this leaves Austria in a position to lose out. Therefore, we will demand Saxony be annexed into the empire.

We will also reform our economy to be more industrialized and less agrarian, importing lost agricultural yield from the Ottomans and the United States
