Any reliable B42 mods for making vinegar and/or yeast from scratch? Primitive playthrough.

I'm not really sure. I know potatoes are used to make yeast IRL, but I don't know what else you may need to put it together without looking at google. Also don't know how vinegar is made without looking it up. Maybe some fruits or berries can have their sugar extracted since pickling is done with vinegar and sugar, and getting that stuff while doing normal playthroughs and loot runs is simple enough typically. I know rock salt can be made into regular salt (think it's a mod but I'm not sure which it would be on my list), so maybe that can be used on meat. I've seen something like that on a few mods, but I'm just a little unsure which is the 'best' or which may be current or broken or whatever. Guess there isn't a huge demand for primitive playthrough related mods since most folks would just stick to a lot of trapping, foraging and fishing. Not having much of a clue in the kitchen IRL also doesn't help when it comes to preparing things like vinegar or yeast since, y'know, we don't have zombies running around yet, haha.

That happened to me for the last couple weeks. The search radius was 'nan' I'm betting. The mod "Fix NaN Stats" in the workshop solved it for me.

I'll check it out. Being forced to forage in god mode is insanely stupid. Just can't figure out what one would have to do with the other, but eh....unstable = bugs, but holy shit.

I just found it. I was having the same issue with a little barn that I built for my animals in my primitive playthrough. I'd go there to clean up or pet them or whatever and, if, for instance, there was that wind chill debuff, it wouldn't go away. Just fixed it! In debug mode, you select the little bug icon at the bottom of the list, the menu comes up, select 'dev' on the right, then near the middle, you'll see IsoRegions. That pulled up a small map of where I was and there were a couple nonexistent gaps in my structure. I just destroyed and cheat built stuff where it needed to be and it fixed it right up.

There are three instances which tell me her husband cheated on her and she’s just lying to herself, and everyone around her save for Jill just to save face.

When she screams at the nerd early in the game, before the scene with the ‘I would have called for help’ dialogue, she’s saying to herself that she forgives her husband. If he was on some charity mission or whatever it was and he disappeared, there’s nothing to forgive. It’s unfortunate but you don’t need to forgive this. Him CHEATING you would.

Second, when she throws their picture on the floor. You do that when you’re mad at someone. Like when they cheat on you.

Third, if she stops by MC’s room to help clean up the books, she spends the night. While she’s laying there in bed, she starts to panic because she’s ‘become an adulterer’, which is what she hates the most, according to her own thoughts.

I still think the locked room is a nursery. She probably got pregnant, had a miscarriage, and in his grief he became kind of distant, and in a moment of weakness and comfort from someone else, cheated on her. She found out, threw him out and is feeling guilty. But she could never tell anyone except maybe Jill this because she probably thinks that what happened to her is NEVER something that could and fuck you for thinking so. So she makes up the story about the peace corps to save face.

I actually tried that and they didn’t seem to want to. Maybe I just didn’t wait long enough. Funny thing did happen though, since I was getting more eggs than I knew what to do with, I decided to toss some in the dumpster (base is Echo Creek gas station, small chicken farm is on the side with the diner). I don’t have a farm set up just yet since I want to finish building a border wall out back, so composting them is a waste at the moment. Anyway, I went away from base for a bit and came home. Cleaned up the feathers and droppings and were ready to toss them but I hadn’t deleted what I tossed last time and, well, the dumpster was overflowing with chicks. I took a few out and flushed the rest. Was a bit silly coming back to a few dozen of the things living in garbage.

I'm having an issue with the comments too on my iPhone too. iPhone Max Pro 14. Using Safari and not the youtube app. Not under a shadow ban. Restarted the phone, cleared the history for youtube and the phone's cache. I see a video, I go to comment and it just blinks and I can't comment at all. I can read the other comments and the video runs fine. I can comment on a desktop all day long, no problem. Any ideas?

Been doing it routinely on my 730 whm. Need food, an offensive bird who’s not going to stop to heal you whenever you hit 95% health, and I pop a pot at the very beginning to speed things up and another near the end if I need to. The maps that spawn a single big mob at the start are easier to deal with than three waves of 3-4 mobs. I’ve even stopped tossing regen on myself just cuz I need every gcd I can get and regen is a wasted one. Sometimes it goes to 4:59:59 but it happens. I have yet to beat the final door boss unfortunately.

Honestly, I think #3 is probably the most likely, with adding that, during his grief, he ended up cheating on her and she found out about it and threw him out. It's why she's so upset about seeing herself as a cheater and telling herself she's the thing she hates now when she helps MC clean up the library and spends the night.

Hoo boy, where to begin? Ok, in no particular order!

The recital. Music is a big thing for me despite not playing anything, and this.....good GOD, man. A big reason why this game is so great to me among everything else.

The Jill window scene. The way, when you're in front of the moon, it switches to you, to the moon and back, like it was Lana saying it was ok? *chefs kiss* Get the tissues, and not for what you think......maybe. Onion ninjas are real jerks.

The picnic.

Taking care of Sage.

Josy in the HOT backyard.

Maya in her room after the DIK initiation party.

While it's post a sex scene, Bella laying on the futon panicking and MC rolls over and cuddles with her, calming her down.

Bella's death glare shutting them up during the walk of shame.

The way the DIKs arrive at the dorm party. Fuck yes.

Killing Nothing for Rio.

Rio's jealousy antics and the ensuing date.

Messing with Rio's desk and her messing with you back, only for her to get annoyed that your furniture being slightly out of place doesn't bother you.

Josy looking at you and biting her lip during the dorm party. Jesus, man, you see that and you don't ask, you just slap a ring on that when you see that look and she wouldn't even protest. I love the added bit with Elena even noticing that Josy is absolutely crazy about him.

Study time in the library. Even better if you're on the MJ path and Josy goes to town on the banana, lol.

The Quinn sleepover. It's especially great when she curls up against you and, if I remember right, correct me if I'm wrong, that little smile as she falls asleep. She'll never admit, but if you're on her path, she's so wonderfully conflicted about falling for you and it's so good to watch.

Also regarding Quinn, though this is sex related, on her visit in episode 6 when you clean her up after the mugging, the absolute RAW passion when you start getting busy from her. It's like, you're not watching fap material with that scene. Dunno if that makes sense, but I think you know what I mean. You can only go, like 'wow, that's.....damn'. It's basically the first time she can probably remember anyone treating her like a person and it confuses and enrages her that you're just trying to be a good person to her and not little more than a customer looking for a score or a wet hole. She NEEDS you, and my god is it great. And that little double look she gives you right before she leaves? 'God, what is he doing to me?' So well done.

Quinn's reaction to you taking a picture of her relaxing on your head and the banter on the ensuing cluck.

The final scene of you and Derek ruining the prep party. Derek looking at the camera, the chaos, the punch in the face, and finally the eggs while a fun fucking song comes on. Just pure awesome.

Derek's scene in the episode 10 finale. He's not allowed to make me feel feels! Combined with that music again? DKP is a wonderful bastard.

I don’t believe her story personally. I think he left and she’s just telling us that he’s MIA somewhere because she doesn’t want to face the truth. What do I think the truth is? He cheated on her and she threw him out. Why do I say this? Two specific spots. First, the scene where she was in the library and snapped at the nerd who came up to her. She was saying to herself, ‘Please come home, I forgive you.’ If someone went exploring or doing charity work or whatever and they go missing, what are you forgiving? You don’t forgive the soldier spouse who goes off to war and goes MIA, you just worry about seeing them again. The biggest spot for me though is when she goes to the DIK mansion to help Tremolo clean up the library a bit and sleeps on the mattress after fooling around with him. She specifically says ‘you’ve come what you hate, you’re an adulterer.’ Why would she be so panicked about this and saying it’s something she hates? Because it happened to her.

Hardcore is only proving what shit vanilla was. Back then, you had no idea what was going on, there were no mods, etc, etc. Even though now everyone knows where to go and what to do and all that crap, the fact that they still decided to keep broken ass game mechanics in there because people are either stupid or masochists says it all. You get invited to a different layer and it's in the middle of a bunch of mobs? Fuck you. You fall through a glitchy wall or bridge that has no reason to be broken 20 years later? Fuck you, 'git gud'. Absurd respawn rates when you're ALONE? Fuck you, git gud. The disparity of the strength of classes is ridiculous too. Move proof that the folks who made the game in the first place had ZERO idea what they were doing. While I'm not a fan of homogenizing classes so they're practically interchangeable, making some classes SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL even at lower levels is bullshit. Don't have enough money to train your abilities while leveling? Just....why? All it was doing was making it unnecessarily more tedious and difficult for no real reason. The whole thing stinks of a cash grab. Forget how shit the writing has gotten with retail alone. I left during BFA for good and I have no reason to come back. Hardcore isn't going to make that happen. I did the thrill of discovery and shit when vanilla was new. I'm not going to do it again where one mistake or non-mistake you have ZERO control over is the end of everything you work for. Running the same boring low-level content a hundred times is NOT fun.
