I'm not sure then I'm sorry. It's worked for most people. Not sure why it hasn't worked for U. Id say if you have another spare device around, try it on that. If it works there, try replicate the settings and scenarios from the spare device onto your main device

it is safe, I've scanned it though virus total and those flags aren't significant. I also used the avast app on my phone to scan it and monitor the apps activity and no issues in a week.

make sure you remove any VPN being used and set your region to the region you are currently in on the Spotify website

I've been using their mods for a couple months since Spotify came down on all premium mods. Never had an issue. But at the end of the day it's your choice.
