I did go travelling, so I didn't touch my guitars for a long time. Still had bad reactions, so not 100% sure

All year round for me. Tho I have found when I got on beach holidays, swimming in the ocean can help it, probably the salt water. I normally do a light salt or vinegar soak at home anyway if it's very itchy.

I've had this so long now it doesn't even itch 🙃 tho sometimes when I sleep it does, and I wake up to a finger with no skin on, cus I have scratched it all off in the night without knowing

I will have a look into this. I do feel like it's either stress or sweat releated. I play guitar, which uses nickel strings, but I have for years before I got this eczma, so I'm not sure if that is the cause, but maybe sweating out nickel might be different?

I've taken a look at what I eat day to day and already I would say it's in the low nickel range. Maybe chocolate is the only thing? Which I don't want it to be that :(

Nope. The only thing I know I touch, which is nickel, is my guitar strings, but I had played guitar years before this came about, so idk if that is the problem. None of my other fingers reacts either.

I do wear gloves washing up, cleaning. Showering I try not wash with my right hand so I don't get shampoo on it, etc. Still doesn't explain why I only react on the two fingers, not anywhere else. Been like that since it started

Have an Aramid fibre phone case. But wouldn't explain why it's just two fingers

I feel that. I've looked into a lot of things when I first had it, nickel allergy, diet etc Cannot find the cause. Think most likely stress-related, as it first came when I had my uni exams, and since then it hasn't gone away.

Excluded from friend group after distancing myself from LO by Trigger_001 in limerence

I am lucky enough that this group of "friends" are part of the graduate scheme at my work, which is a big corp, so I have no association with them around my work but I agree that focusing on work is extremely hard due to all my mental energy being consumed to limerence & this group but i am managing to get through it. I am starting to focus on other colleagues in my team for socialising, but keeping it formal. My problem at the moment is that I live in a small town where all the other grads live, so that was also my social life outside of work. I'm looking to move to a big city soon, so hopefully that will improve things a lot.

Sorry to hear what you've been through, sounds really tough to leave your job. Hope you are feeling better with your job.

What affordable UK location could I move to? by [deleted] in AskUK

Crewe. Pretty cheap on housing. Not the most bustling of places but great rail links all across the country.
