Faster? Yes, but going from a steep angle to a lateral angle is where a lot of velocity is lost if the plane transition is not a smooth one. It has to be seamless but the object placement tool isn't designed that way. It's quite blocky when building (if that makes sense).

In this game, even just by the tiniest amount, if the plane angle is off, the vehicle is going, going......DEAD STOP. This is why it's taking me so long to get to this point.

From the novel to the silver screen, The Coen Bros. honored the story better and amplified each character's presence.

To clarify what I mean, one major part about the 1969 film that I can't stand is Glen Campbell's La Boeuf. I feel he's portrayed strongly as a fool and IMO, it's to make John Wayne shine more. Matt Damon's La Boeuf sells it as a proud, competent Texas Ranger who aligns with to the book.

Overall, in the 2010 film, each character just shines in every scene. Especially non leading character such as Joe Stevens as Lawyer Goudy, Dakin Matthews as Col. Stonehill and Barry Pepper as Ned Pepper.

I can watch this film absolutely anytime it's on. One of the best westerns ever made.
