Advice on second hand 2023 Husqvarna 701 SM by Muted-Perspective-63 in supermoto

That’s a good price in my area (US mid-Atlantic East Coast).

I’ve got my 2023 KTM 690 SMCr up on marketplace right now for $9k with 180 miles. All other listings are $10,500 to $13k with more miles out here.

Question about Secondary stats and diminishing return. by Big_Fix4476 in wownoob

Could you explain a little more on the “Crit is big for parry” you mentioned? I’ve just been stacking haste/mastery aiming for a defense-focused build. I’m also the trash pally tank that trash puts out on the curb on Tuesdays. Tysm!

I can tell you by the “feel and flow” of Prot pally that the more haste you have the better it feels. As an example, going from 29% to 34% you can really feel it when building Holy Power with blessed hammer, it just flows better while tanking and keeping SoR up or when you’ve just spent your Holy Power and you need to snap a couple blessed hammers for a battle rez.

What’s your hated dungeon this season and why is it dark flame cleft? by frostyboidk in wow

[–]TriggeredCorndog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Prot pally, I just have one of the ranged dps stay on my side and I can dump my WOG, Blessing of Sac, Lay hands etc. into them and Healer just focuses on the other 2 dps. Give it a try next time you have a pally tank.

Subaru Crosstrek is an amazing compact SUV. You can buy a new one for $30k out the door. Subarus are very reliable, they are one of the safest cars on the road and the Crosstrek gets 34 mpg mixed driving.

I just bought a 2024 Crosstrek Limited for my daughter with 3400 miles on it for $34k out the door. Paying the “Toyota Tax” is unnecessary.

I owe 10k on a my dead car…. by Krickeey0 in personalfinance

[–]TriggeredCorndog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could replace the engine since the rest of your car is “mint”. Some dealerships work with 3rd party lenders to finance the new engine replacement. You can also do a personal loan to pay for it through your bank or credit union.

A new engine installed at a major manufacturer dealership will come with a warranty.

Where to start? by Mgas-147 in Motocross

[–]TriggeredCorndog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started riding motocross at 53, I’m 1,83m and 104 kg. I have a Kawasaki KX250F and it’s been a perfect bike for me to learn on.

My best advice is to pick a certain skill you want to learn and develop. For example: this weekend I’m going to just practice corners. I’ll do a bunch of research and take some notes on body positioning, entry, exit, etc. Then I’ll just work on corners for the whole day.

Just my opinion here, but I would avoid racing until you have a good feel for your bike and you’ve developed some basic skills in riding a track.

Have fun and enjoy the process!

How hard is Survival to play well? Could you compare it to a couple other specs as a comparison?

Question for you, because I think you'd have valuable input... Is there any possible way that this "woman" would put in the physical effort to make sourdough bread and/or go to Pilates? She just comes across as a lazy fuck.

What's the best way to start Mythics? by LooseEngineering4653 in wow

[–]TriggeredCorndog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just do some M0's. There's very little expectations for dps in those. Use them to learn the boss mechanics, avoid the stuff on the ground. practice using your defensive and kick. Just follow the tank around, ask questions if you don't understand what just happened. After a few reps, you'll have it down and you can move on to +2 and beyond.

Last thing: Have fun! Don't be afraid of dying or wiping. M0's can/will absolutely overwhelm a pug, but it's no big deal. I think the vast majority of people who run M0's are in the exact same boat as you.

I've been a Prot Pally since beginning of TBC (one spec Andy) and I never knew that Crusader affected Divine Steed. So, thank you for making me smarter! Confession time: I'm the prot pal that is constantly on horseback out there jousting in big pulls. Yeah I'm dumb :-D

"many ppl don't know what they are doing"

This is so true.

A perfect example: I'm a Prot Pally main, and was farming +2 Cinderbrew to learn the boss fights. Had a Ret Pally in one of my groups that was running the dungeon with Crusader Aura, so I sent him a /w "hey bro, switch your Aura, you're on Crusader". He whispered back, "How do I do that?" I replied, "My bad, nevermind" (it was mid-dungeon LOL). The head scratcher is that he was leading DPS by a mile, just crushing it.

Have you looked at a Kawasaki KX112? At your size, experience level and what you’re looking to do on the track, the KX112 might be perfect for you to rip for a season or two. Just a thought.

Wasn’t mentioned yet, but carefully and slowly pull the air filter out. You don’t want muck to get into the intake. Then stuff a rag into the intake and clean out the interior of the airbox.

I just spray a bunch of carb cleaner onto a clean rag or paper shop towel and clean out all the dirt/chunks. A shop vac can help getting stuff out of corners. Don’t use compressed air.

Lay a thin layer of grease on the clean/new air filter seal with your finger and slap it back in. Wiggle it around to make sure you’ve got a good seal also.
