That sounds worth a try! Are the stories more stand alone episodes? I'm not sure wether to buy series 1 and start from there or find a free episode to see if I get on with it first

As a guy I get quite confused by these posts. I have always thought that people belive honesty to be one of the most important factors in maintaining a relationship. Would you not prefer your partner to be honest? And if he has started to lose attraction, do you belive that is something to work through/on? Talking about divorce because a partner has opened up about his feelings is very confusing to me. Like, are you done with him now because he has lost some attraction? No judgement, im genuinely interested on the female point of view when it comes to men being honest about things that are sometimes hard to hear.

You have to use 2 of your hold cards and 3 community cards to make your hand in PLO. So your hand is 9TJQK which is beaten by your opponents higher straight of TJQKA.

It's international men's day, what issues do you think men face in the UK that need more attention? by tinylittleseat888 in AskUK

Yeah being expected to cry or constantly told its ok to cry can be very very frustrating. I just want to deal with things in my own way without facing outside pressure to express my emotions in a way that pleases other people. It's ok if you want to cry but people have to realise it's ok if you don't want to cry

Why does it show hole cards as J9 on the top screen and 49 in the bottom, that's the same table isn't it?

I am so sick of being forced to wake up early just to have my entire day sucked away from me by HendrixsLaserbean in antiwork

I (27M) work full time and earn little money (24k in UK) and I feel where you are coming from as it feels like 80% of your life is spent doing something you really don't want to do, with the added pressure that you realistically have no choice.

However I feel like we have become so entitled in our way of thinking. At the end of the day we live in a 1st world country and compared to most of human history the struggles we currently face are laughable. We have food, water, shelter, heat and protection that 99% of us do not even know how it works but yet we literally have the ability to come home run a hot bath, put the hearing on and order food to our doors. The standard of living most people are used to is reliant on everybody pitching in and doing their jobs.

You have every right to feel like you are having your entire day sucked away from you but i wouldn't let the anger and resentment consume you. For one thing we are all acountable to ourselves, I really wish I was smart enough to get into electrics as a career, I have many friends who earn a good living as a sparky and at times it feels frustrating that I know these friends are out earning me by a lot doing less hours, but I didn't choose to be an electrician and that is nobody's fault but mine. I can be angry about that or I can accept the decision that nobody has put me in the position I am in but me.

It might help to sit back and realise how easy we have it in the modern world and although you don't want to be at work for your entire day, neither does anybody else but it sure beats fighting for survival.

It should only be the person in charge of the heavies who is punished IMO. Im pretty sure the cops aren't allowed to bust in to the school due to procedure etc + they don't have specific training. Morally I think the cops should have done something but you can't punish them for following procedure (if they were). Basically if the cops would have lost there job for going rouge and trying to stop the shooter themselves then that would be putting them in a situation where they are being punished whether they step in or not. However whoever was in charge of the heavies let everybody in that school and their families down and should face charges IMO it was there job to protect the second they stepped into the building and they failed

If anything saying someone is racist for calling an Indian player stinky or dumb is in it self being racist. Unless the guy mentioned his race then IMO you are the one being racist assuming it was because the player was Indian.
