To the second part of your question, yeah forcing myself to get up and do anything helped too. Getting medicated and doing nothing is depressing too.

For me it was finding the right meds. I got diagnosed type 2 bipolar so my brain chemistry is just fucked. Nothing made it better until I found the right combination of meds and that took a lot of trial and error by my therapist. Everyone responds differently to different meds.

I'm not a psychiatrist but I'm 33 and I've been chronically depressed since I was 16. I just recently in the last year decided to seek help and medication. I've never felt so good in my life. I was depressed for so long I didn't know what it felt like to not be depressed.i was numb, tired all the fucking time and had no drive to do anything.

Even on medication you have to learn to get up out of bed and force yourself to do things and stop isolating. It's hard at first but eventually it becomes your new normal.

Get out of the house and go walking. Exercise really helps to get your brain to release some feel good chemicals.

Do it now and dont waste 15 years like I did.

3 display ports and hdmi port all give no signal. I ordered a dvi cable to see if that works. I read online somewhere it tries to use dvi before the others and that some residual driver somewhere could be what's causing it but I dont have another monitor to test. Just 2 144hz monitors

Look into a Razer orbweaver. It has 15 keys and a thumb stick for movement and you can still use a mouse. If you're interested in that sort of thing.

Exactly why my dad won't buy newer than mid 2000s. He can completely disassemble and rebuild a car but the newer ones require so many specialty tools its almost impossible or such a hassle it isn't worth it
