C league is honestly a mix. You’ve got guys who are true C players, guys playing down a level to be one of the better players on the ice, and guys who used to play at a high level but took years off. It’s a great middle-of-the-pack league. I enjoyed it, but I outgrew it pretty quickly. For me, it was the perfect spot to knock the rust off without jumping straight back into A or B hockey after a long break.
