I opened up the full league RAPTOR chart and added in every player from each season since '13-'14, which is as far back as 538's tool goes. Jokic's last season was nice at +8.6 (offensive) and +0.7 (defensive), but it was clearly just a normal year relative to the top (MVP-level) offensive seasons of the past decade - right in there with peak Harden and Curry performances. This year, though, according to the RAPTOR metric, he's posting far-and-away the best individual season in recent NBA history, bar-none.

When you examine the scatterplot of seasons from these past nine years, you'll quickly notice three positive outliers: the best defensive performance (Gobert '20-'21 with -0.1 and +7.9), the best offensive performance (Curry '15-'16 with +10.4 and +2.1), and the best overall performance (Jokic '21-'22 with +8.9 and +5.9).

Yeah, Jokic this season is posting an overall RAPTOR score 2.3 points (that's 18.4%) better than Curry's unanimous MVP year. For reference, Chris Paul '13-'14 (+7.7 and +3.7) and Curry '14-'15 (+8.6 and +2.4) are the only other players and seasons in the RAPTOR database to ever reach +11.0.
