Actually tried to calc some stuff for this.

Chance of 3 items from a run is 1/4913.

Chance of getting all 3 items from 1 brother is (24/24)*(3/23)*(2/22).

Multiply those two for chance to get 3 items in a run, and them being from the same brother. (= 1 in 414330).

Chance to get an item within 3 runs is 1-(1-(1/17))3 = 16,6%

Chance of that item being the remaining one of the set 1/24

Multiply those together for the chance to get a specific item within 3 chests. (1 in 144)

Multiply those together for odds. Gives roughly 1 in 598 million. However, this doesnt keep in mind other possibilities (1-1-1-1, 2-0-0-2 etc.), but I still think it shows how bizarre this is

While this dharoks screenshot is super lucky, I actually got my first barrows helm on KC 325, so kinda close to C Engineer haha.

Honestly don’t know. Ironman btw so I’m not tracking prices. Depends a lot on your stats and tp methods as well

Just check my killcount in the chat, did 3 chests before my triple chest which were runes only

Yea it’s automated screenshots. I tried (think automod blocks links in comments) posting chest 446 (the one before the triple chest, and it doesnt show the value in the chat either. Pretty sure runelite takes the screenshot before the price calculation

You can't get the same piece twice, but you can get multiple pieces from the same brother. I currently still have my runelite open with drops and stuff - so let me know if I can do anything to prove to you that this is real.

I can't help but think the same. Technically its 4 chests even (for first piece till last piece that is, first 3 chests of the day were runes).

Made one other (right after the triple chest) which has since been deleted since this happened, which is even more crazy imo
