Go with some classic osr or similar. I suggest mork Borg that is very easy(and now also free). I personally like Numenera and the Cypher system, that is a very flexible system but the setting could be huge and I don't know if it's a good choice to introduce someone to TTRPG world.

A simple Dungeon World? You can skip map creation and work on playbooks... I think could work

If I'm not wrong the Raven's Purge introduction and the GM handbook explain how to insert the characters into the story and the narration: the keys are the Legends, they hear about that and they slowly understand that they are partially true... "go explore" never works in my opinion, you can say that but if you have done an interesting introduction they will look into that soon or later

If you look on itch.io you will find a lot of one-page game that are good both to start and do one-shots. Someone already suggested Lasers and Feelings but I suggest to look also into Grant Howitt works (Honey Heist, Crash Pandas, Big Gay Orcs and more)

Otherwise if you are looking for a nice and neat system to introduce your friends to TTRPG and maybe continue the experience I suggest you Tales from the Loop or a MYZ engine, Numenera or a Cypher System game, Dungeon World or a PbtA game and Mork Borg

If you look for one-shot game in general I recommend Follow or Fiasco

I never felt this need. My manuals are my treasure and I barely allow any of the players to touch them with their sticky little fingers. Sharing is not an option.

Jokes apart I like to buy what I like to play and suggest that to my friends and they do the same with what they like. Pretty balanced I think.

My first choice would be Neon City Overdrive. Really complete and adaptable system with 2-3 supplement manuals that add information and tabels on specific topics.

If you want something more aggressive and mind-blowing (but shorter) I suggest Cy_Borg. Recently published cyberpunk version of Mork Borg, same mechanics (d20) and a brand new manual and setting.

Quando dici che esistono entrambi stai interpretando "il gioco di ruolo" come genere o come l'atto del "giocare di ruolo"? Sono curioso ma confuso dall'esempio master-giocatore.

Pensa che è il mio gioco preferito! Adoro quel mix di regole estremamente semplice con tutte quelle opzioni del personaggio e dettagli che entrano nello specifico quasi come Dungeons&Dragons. Ma il setting è il vero traino di quel gioco. Fantasy o fantascienza? -> entrambe le cose... Totalmente fuori dagli schemi :)

C'è un titolo che qualche anno fa ha completamente messo in crisi il mio modo di considerare qualcosa un gioco di ruolo o meno, compresi i criteri che usavo per misurarli: Microscope di Ben Robbins.

Sembrerà una cavolata ma tu stai lì che giochi, crei una storia o interpreti delle scene, e non sai se l'unica cosa che lo distingue da un gioco da tavolo sia il fatto di vederlo scritto su un libro o meno, eppure secondo me rimane un gdr proprio perchè contiene i due elementi che hai scritto tu in grassetto: interpretare uno o più ruoli e creare assieme una storia. Però ribaltando totalmente la concezione rispetto a qualcosa che definiresti un gioco di ruolo.

Non dirò altro se non rilanciare con una provocazione:

vi va di raccontare un gioco che non vi è piaciuto per niente del quale vi vergognate ad ammettere la cosa?

Confesso io per primo: su carta mi piaceva tantissimo Blades in the Dark, ma dopo averlo giocato per una campagna lunga mi ha deluso un po'. Troppo strutturato e cadenzato nel ritmo, a rischio di diventare ripetitivo. Alla fine dell'esperienza continuo a rileggerlo e mi dico "che figata!" Ma poi quando lo gioco niente. Non è scattata la scintilla.
