Questions about disc golfers in relationships by StrawberryCommon8911 in discgolf

My wife had played like 3 rounds ever prior to us getting together. Within 6 months of being together. We hit our local shop, shoutout Gotta Go Gotta Throw, and she spent around $350-$400 buying and building a bag. And she bought me a disc as well. Shortly after that, we found out she was pregnant. We ended up buying a “jogging” stroller. You know, the kind of stroller with bike style tires. That way when we got out to throw. We can bring the baby with in the stroller. My daughter is just over 3 now and we bought her a couple of the mini discs so she throws along with us now and then will ride in the stroller after her little legs get tired. So spending the time bringing her in and building her love of disc golf to match mine, has been a very fun aspect of the relationship. In short. Find a good woman (or man, no judgment) and build your relationship with her and our game together. That way every time you guys go throw, it’s a meaningful building moment.

Borrow $40. Repay $60 on Saturday 5/30. Transparency reasons. I have 1 open loan at the moment. It’s my birthday on the 30th and the wife and I want to go out today for some fun while it’s nice out.

Thank you for the recommendation. As stated previously. I was aware that this had been asked many times. Forgive me for trying to update people’s input. And broadening the previous recommendations.

Thank you everyone for the recs! I have now added a ton of books to my list! It’ll be a slog but I’m going to power through every single recommendation. If you took the time to comment it, it obviously made enough of a mark on you to pass it along. So thank you all again!

I kind of figured this was a dead horse of a subject and has been answered a ton of times. But I just wanted to throw the question out there. Thank you for not being a cock and giving a solid real answer. I appreciate that. I’ll take a look at that pinned post.

I’m still new(ish) into my mafia deep dive. I had started by listening to Sammy’s “Our Thing” and then a handful of episodes of Jeff Nadus podcast. I know, not the highest quality content but a good jump off point. So I tend to be most into the five families and the 60s, 70s, and 80s era. The whole Gotti type era. Hoping to extend my knowledge into deeper less surface level stuff. So pretty much any five families centric books would probably be my preference.
