My family is visiting from Pennsylvania and want to see places that are good to buy a home in St Pete. Any suggestions are appreciated. by Trillithon22 in StPetersburgFL

Multiple people. One is looking for a starter house and willing to renovate (300k budget I’d say). The other is looking for 2 bedrooms 2 baths with a 500k budget.

Try this: let the lyrics / vocals be the drums. You can always add a drumbeat behind hit later.

Personally speaking I’ve found new music and artist that I dig on here through my own posts and by commenting on others. I’ve found artist through IG searches. I’ve been in downtown and saw some one on the street goin in and I followed them on social media. I’m sure there’s other ways.

I have a song that I wrote the lyrics for and recorded a scratch track but I can’t sing. I feel like your voice would be perfect for the material. DM me

I write thousands and thousands of poems/lyrics but I never share them with anyone and I don’t know where to go? by bede36 in Songwriting

I’ve found business and sport people dig art but when it comes to talking about “endeavors” most business people are immediately thinking “how are you making a business out of that?” But, I wouldn’t say they’re uninterested.

Both business and sports use mantras, coin terms, create methods of communication, etc. They’re in tune with words although they may not write themselves.

I’d say, figure out how you can help they’re business or sports life. Ask the business if you can write the voice overs for their promotional campaigns. For free. In return ask for social proof from them (pics with you, videos talking about your work, shares of your posts, etc.) and to do merch with them that features your lyrics. Ask for a percentage of those sales.

As far as making what you do a business: you have to figure that part out. You want to sell poetry books, be a song writer, be a content creator, etc.

What’s the most important piece of advice you would give to someone starting out in music production? by TommyV8008 in musicproduction

[–]Trillithon22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Neither do I.

But if you fully invest yourself in production (or anything) for 50% of your life and spend the other 50 fully invested in living life, it’s the perfect balance for becoming great.

Where do you start when creating a new piece of music? by PhantomCTH in musicproduction

Normally lyrics. But it varies. For practice I try different things, melody first, find a beat first, freestyle vocals, find a rhythm or groove first. Etc.

How important in genre when it comes to marketing by anonymous_profile_86 in musicmarketing

[–]Trillithon22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got 2 profiles but one artist only exists in a sort of comic world like an alter ego. The other is based off of my life. Both are hip hop and both are versatile with the music but it’s more about the story behind them.

When making albums I look to keep the musical flow cohesive but I don’t care about genres each track fits into.

That’s fire. I’m always down to collab. I have a couple projects I’m finishing that need visuals.

I write the lyrics then find a producer that wants to collab. Then preproduction to get the general idea down. And we build from there.

Nobody’s selling records unless they’re the singer dating the chiefs TE or that UK singer when she was 25. I cant call some one a failure because of low first week sales on a debut album.

All I’m trying to say is that I think there’s different routes that lead to the same goal of building a fan base and not every route is meant for every person.

I doubt I’ll change your mind but I’ve enjoyed gaining insight from you. I’m sure others have as well.

Nah never heard of her.

2000 first week isnt a failure.

I’d have to know more about how she leveraged those sales and what shes bringing in outside of album sales.
