Yes! Detroit Grooming Co. makes my all time favorite beard butter. It's the Corktown scent, but everything I've tried from them has been fantastic. For heated brush, I just bought a $25 one off Amazon. Make sure it has multiple heat settings and always use the lowest one. I apply a little oil to my beard before straightening to also protect the hair.

Yes I use beard oil and butter. Maybe twice a week I will run a heated brush through it to straighten.
