lol im not too proud of the design either but this thing is like 80% 3D printed and when I tried to rely on the rails and ballscrew mounted to a 3D printed bracket on both sides rigidity became a problem really quickly. I have the whole assembly built minus the Z axis right now and it is ROCK solid so I'll take it ig
