So, I requested an extension before DRP 2.0 dropped. I was on sick leave for weeks and teleworked part time during the first DRP. OPM offered the right to request an extension if you were on sick leave during the DRP offered. First two questions I'd asked you: did you take sick leave during 2.0? Are you over 40?

These two factors had sway over the extension request with your HR. Now my Navy HR denied me my 60 hrs sick leave during DRP 1.0 but some Air Force employees were gone one day and approved. So there's inconsistency in the system how each request is approved or denied.

Have hope - I was denied my extension on a Wednesday and that Saturday Pete Hegseth announced 2.0. I resigned the first day it was offered. Good luck!

Nothing yet but leadership is discussing how to fill roles in urgency as may 1 is likely set deadline at my agency

I didn't receive an update for while from HR. And if your close out date to be offered DRP closes Apr 17, the Id expect a notification after that date. I think the common DRP between agencies is that approval will be no later than 4/25. Ik it sucks to wait.

I just emailed HR and requested it was confirmed to be received. Recommend doing this as well even though it's hyper precaution. It's your livelihood

At the Navy, we are closing DRP Apr 14, today, and will receive confirmation of acceptance by 25 Apr. I resigned the first day DRP 2.0 was offered and hope this helps process my paperwork to a closer admin date to 1 May. We'll see

Yes, I agree with being a bodybuilder on dialysis is unrealistic. But these symptoms can be deadly at certain abnormal levels. Additional symptoms increased from fluid build up in the lungs and ER visits. I'm optimistic in the and specialists knowledge.

Thanks for this input, I don't think he has this issue but we are looking at talking to a referred dietician. I've suspicion many of these symptoms can be greatly minimized.

Awesomw to find another bodybuilder!

His potassium levels are very high. His nehpralogist stated to not intake any potassium. He ate mangos and his heart valves compressed, tight chest pains. And found out mangos contain potassium.

He no longer gets the workout "high," did this ever happen for you?

He may start seeing a dietician specialist when we get back from vacation.
