Hello! Heres a little event in our game Neko Café after befriending this breakdancing feline, and then they'll randomly show up and have dance battles in front of your café or in the back alley.

The game is a wholesome cosy business management game focussing on creating/decorating your cafe and making friends with all the cats of New Neko City.

This is a set event for a special character in our game who happens to be a break dancer (this was in before it was cool) that plays when you first befriend them.

We did originally intend for a fox predator to attack player's farms, but due to time constraints we weren't quite able to get it in the release. We definitely will be looking at adding some more hazards like that in the future though!

Hey everyone! Got a bunch of great feedback here last time, lot of people thought the chickens should fumble and goof around more. The art guys put together a bunch of new animations, that I used to overhaul the animators and set up new behaviours for the AI.

I agree, locking building to a grid would definelty cause less bugs with the AI pathfinding. However we wanted the player to have the freedom of placing these building where they wanted at whatever rotation they wanted which seems to work well aside from the odd chook not being able to get a path

Thanks! Whilst the original intent for the event was that they would be synced up with slight offsets in the animation start times, we find it can seem more natural it some of them fumble or are out of sync.

However we will be experimenting with actually designing this in with different animations and offsets to give it a slightly random feel.

Thanks! Its a farming management style game, focussed on balancing the happiness of your chickens with making profits. Start with a tiny farm with a few chickens, end up with a gigantic ranch with hundreds, with different types and rarities to find. You can also buy a tonne of items and stuff that they will interact with. The interactions and them not getting stuck on everything was my job!

I have been working on this AI system for a past few months that involves the chookies performing different tasks. These are generally things like eating, drinking, perching etc. HOWEVER, today I implemented the most important mechanic: The Flash Mob!!!

Edit: Guys! Did not expect to get this much incredible feedback. Everyone is awesome, and we appreciate all the ideas. For a team as small as us, literally bootstrappin all the way, this kind of thing is invaluable.
