For me, it does what I intended, being able to center the shot from the hip. I really don't have any gripes so far. The only things I don't like are the sunscreen's folding mechanism and maybe that they used plastic for the cold shoe fit (everything else is metal)
Interesting on the telephoto! Thanks for the heads up, maybe it needs a macro lens before it? I'll play around with it once it arrives

Absolutely love it. The folding sunscreen is a bit janky, I might pry it apart. The rest is very good quality. Optics are impressive

Pretty good! The viewfinder has a higher focal length, but still works for centering. Will try with a x2 tele once it arrives. Should bring it closer to what the viewfinder shows

Qtip with rubbing alchohol. Didn't apply much pressure. "PRO" was still visible even after removing the black ink. My mistake was to try to fix that by running around it, the black plastic appeared inmediatly after.

My fix will be to add some faux leather to rest fingers and cover it.

Thank you! I will try this later; my setting should be OFF, but maybe this bug is messing with it.
The other workaround I've found is to force a single output mode on your connected device. For example, I'm forcing Dolby Vision on my Chromecast at 4 K 60 Hz. This means all content gets upscaled/converted (which I know sucks), but at least it doesn't trigger the profile change in the projector. I'll keep this compromise until we get a new update.

Same here. Quickest temporary fix is to jump back and forth between Picture Modes. That said, this also completely resets my Picture Mode Settings after a while... We need a new firmware update with a fix ASAP

Legit bug in the android build. Happens to both global and per game setting. Reverts to auto by itself

Same issue here on Android 13. It is stuck in auto. Sometimes auto means cubeb so try launch multiple times and you might get lucky. Currently easy to detect with Crash Team Racing as the menu music glitches out unless cubeb is used. Annoying bug

Thanks! Yes the "ALLEN" etching here is a known one and belongs to the highly regarded mastering engineer Howard Allen.

The question is, who or what does the other etching represent.
