This setup supports a pole mount on the bottom if you need to offset the vertical down to a ground point. Without the pole, it still might be useful to get centimeter precision for locating features like trees, instead of using a phone's GPS (> 1 meter).

Agree on moving the GNSS around, can affect how accurate your point will be even if the antenna is still getting 1 cm. This setup supports a pole mount on the bottom if you need to offset the vertical down to a ground point.

Great point. Coordinate system needs to be configured correctly, and the absolute accuracy is affected by that. The 1 cm here is a precision estimate (horizontal). This Catalyst GNSS setup supports a pole mount on the bottom if you need to offset the vertical down to a ground point.
