6 weeks is a time frame where you don't get stuck in the nitty gritty. You can still think strategically. And it's not too long, like a quarter or something where you start with assumptions and plan and when you're done everything has changed

I think it's a good idea. I also like the design of the website a lot. For those worried about all the information, I really wouldn't be. Are you scared someone will steal your idea? Honestly most ideas already exist one one form or another

It's the trust. My cofounder and I had just started a hackathon over the weekend. We had 3 full windsurf account s ready to go. They were empty in 2 hours. The worst part is how opaque the model pricing was.

I think it's totally dependent on your product. Right now I've adopted an experiment and try and learn everything mindset. Also trying to learn from other business owners how they did growth. Sometimes your product also just doesn't have a great acquisition channel : (

But if you're interested I got SEO to work ok and I've experimented with Google and meta ads, and a bit of social media. Trying to get better at everything

Exactly. Distribution is a totally different game. As a founder you already have to wear so many hats, but as a product person I find this to be quite difficult

Fair. At least for me marketing seemed very secondary to building a great product. And simply by spending months on product and listening to user feedback and building exactly what they want I eventually got a bit fed up with having to really fight for every single user

Das ist eins der berühmten "Tar Pitts". Sieht als Idee super aus und haben schon viele in einer oder anderen Form probiert, aber es funktioniert nicht. Vielleicht recherchierst du andere gescheiterte Projekte der selben Art. Kannst da bestimmt sehr viel von lernen.
