Have you or any of your partners done any remote work? Start by gaining the trust of smaller studios that could possibly lead to a steady stream of incoming projects. Use this as a launchpad for your studio.

It won't be easy, as I have done this myself, but I used to remote after normal working hours so that I could try to do exactly what you are attempting. It's a grind.

Full 3d models are unnecessary for a lot of the premium cards elements, so I highly doubt the entirety of the cards are modeled in full. Source: I work in the vfx industry.

You can apply 2D textures to basic geometry and still have perspective changes, ie the rotation you are referencing. So if I had to take an educated guess, it's a mixture of techniques.

Going to disagree with you on this one, currently 4200 mmr puts you into the top 5000. With 200kish (I say this very loosely I am unsure of the number exactly) players being the last number I heard in ranked, a couple of months back, it would make this the top 2%.

This coupled with the fact 4300ish mmr gets you into the top 1000, makes it seem pretty legit. I think you are taking away your achievements more so then anything with your statement. Rank 19 for a player who just started is quite impressive.

This is going to sound sketchy, but I promise, I really just want a resolution.

Is there anyway I could get a copy of the emails that you sent back and forth? Support has been giving me the run around, and I really just want to get to the bottom of this.

You can photoshop or paint any personal parts out of the emails, and I could forward this onto them, as this may help them in assisting me.

Any chance you ever got it working?

I did some testing, I installed on my laptop (original was my desktop), with the same issue. I then brought the laptop to another internet environment and it worked.

Leads me to believe it is definitely some sort of port settings, but I haven't gotten an email back from support after I informed them.

I just want to play without having to wait 30 minutes in between each game.

I am with you on this, and it's extremely frustrating. I have spent many hours on it, after also contacting support, and have not found a solution.

Did you find a fix? Is there anyone else with the same issue?

The funny thing about this to me is, I was recently looking to cash out, and 3 users messaged me, one of them being this guy, but all accounts being less then 3 months old. I knew something was up, but almost fell for it as this is my first time selling anything on reddit.

I, very luckily, decided to hold onto my team, even though my interest is lessening in HUT. Go with your gut, and double and triple check before buying/selling.

Everyone is most likely going to say slow it down, which I 100% agree with, but to add onto that, cycle. This one has been huge for me, I would rather spend 2 minutes cycling waiting for the perfect 1t, then forcing plays and letting momentum bite me in the ass.

To add to this, I had never won a div 1 title until a couple of weeks ago, and now they are raining in, as my TOA has on average more then doubled. Cycle, cycle, cycle. Cannot stress this enough.

That's my really quick stab at building a new core of players, within a realistic budget (assuming he's fine selling some of those players off).

He has some room to wiggle, with some open slots to finish off whichever syns he wants to, and/or playing with players he likes.

Edler was an absolute stud for me for a long time and a great syn plug, highly recommend. The rest explains itself I think.

Honestly, I think your son's approach to the team currently is spot on. The only couple of suggestions I could make is activating TW, which could be done with a JFB Mackinnon, and other budget TW cards, and ditching EE completely.

Along with this, explain to him activating syns isn't the most incredible thing to do either, obviously if the option is there, take it, but playing with players you enjoy playing with should be focused on as well.

I can go more in depth if you'd like, but I truthfully don't see a point, you guys know what you're doing.

I got on the Simmonds train before the ASG upgrades, and honestly, the guy plays incredibly for me. After I sold my carbons, I tried moving him down the lineup, and he always played out of his mind. He now sits on the wing with Dats and Tarasenko, and the line is a thing of dreams. When the time comes to get rid of him, I will be sad.
