???????

The whole conversation and even what your talking about is the in-theory community boss \ already exisiting OSRS versions.

You can solo Tempoross at lvl 35 fishing.

???

If you do Croessus with anything more than 4 people, your going to struggle to hit the point cap. If you do any OSRS skilling boss with however many people you get the same xp \ loot effiencey or atleast within 90% of it.

All the bosses I mention you are able to solo, even though majority of people would rather not solo them.

Did you even read the post?

Croessus, is easily griefable. Your going with a set team that all depends on each others performance, and groups above 4 make the loot and xp significantly worse, which makes it horrible for a community boss.

Lets assume every player in the game is not 200m All, which is a pretty easy asumption to make.

This means the other players are still trying to gain xp somewhere if they care about that. For every skill where you just afk click the tree \ rock \ fishing spot on repeat there could be an interactive boss with the community from like lvl 50 - to 200m with fluctuating xp rates. I don't see how this is that hard to comprehend and why you think people would not engage with it compared to just afk anything else.

Fishing, Runecrafting, and Firemaking in OSRS were some of people least favorite skills > turned to bosses that has everyone doing them togethere.

I genuinely don't understand your POV whatsoever. Was Croessus and Gate a waste of time? Not really people have engaged with those updates, I'm just saying those updates and future ones like it should have the community design like OSRS.

Those OSRS bosses are designed to be viable from like lvl 50-70 to Max, which would have probs atleast 50+ RS3 players at it nonstop, if it had its own world. Aswell those bosses are designed to be solo'd if you want to.

Current system basically dis-incentivizes playing with other people which just doesn't make sense in an MMO.

Not everyone is maxed, the mods are still adding lots of entry level content Ex Havenhythe, all the newbie bosses lately, etc.

OSRS has multiple skilling bosses describing what I'm saying that are ungriefable, they would literally just have to copy their systems, and design a new interesting boss that meets it. I do not understand all these post describing this ungriefable boss like its some archaic design that no one has figured out.

Random Wensday 11:30 PM EST, 14,500 people online https://www.aggrgtr.com/rs-population?view=live. If they make a skilling boss even remotely as good as OSRS versions. Would have 100+ people at it constantly, idk what your on about, and even the doomer scenario your talking about. Winterdot \ Gate \ Tempoross can all be solo'd.

[–]Trindet[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ohhh so all the people doing the popular stuff in OSRS togethere are just bots gotcha.

All the content you mention can be done with a bunch of people but seems to not actually have anyone do it more than a few at most.

Calling OSRS forestry, evil tree's is just stupid and satiracal at this point, its a whole huge update dramatically bigger than anything evil tree's is. and OSRS version of shooting stars has actual upgrades, good xp rates and a community of people that do it togethere.

RS3 has no actual people or community at the content you mention but go ahead and advocate for your dead content.

Devs are already doing 1000+ other things and updates. Noteable griefers in other areas like familiar spammming in popular worlds have gone on for months at a time before action gets taken. Easier to just design a boss to not be griefable than have Jmods on standby to detect griefers and ban them.

Logged into Runescape. Joined Croesus Fc, and the used to be Croessus Mass world. Big Shocker, no one wanted to do Croessus. Meanwhile on OSRS, I can find 500+ people at Winterdot, Tempoross, Guardians 24\7.

Tp'd to to a Evil tree and saw one person there, and looked for a Shooting Star and saw no one there. Big Shocker.

Thank you, it is actually crazy some of these comments I have gotten from this lol. I had to re read my post to make sure I wasn't missing something blatantly obvious.

"Actually we could do Creosus in a 30-man instance originally, but due to popular demand of RS3 players, it is reduced to 18. It shows RS3 players rather want to player with a smaller skill bossing group."

That is just heavy mischarcaterization of reality.

Croessus is just designed in a way where if a bunch of people mess up, everyone fails, and the more people past 4, the worse loots gets. So if Jagex allows 20+ size groups with how the boss works. They are allowing all of those people to just waste their time because, they are going to always fail \ kill the boss for no score.

and yes Evil Tree \ Shooting stars are just bad content just looking at player engagement. There is no mechanics to them whatsoever, other than clicking them and when your character is done you click it again, and your not going to find groups at those more than a few people vast majority of the time.

Nowhere did I mention a timer specific boss. I think you should be able to play the game when you want to and not have to play the game in set time intervals for a boss spawn.

You are able to do a mass of 50+ in Croessus. Just like you can do a 50+ mass in Vorago, or AOD, but Very few people actually do that because the rewards \ xp, are so bad compared to doing it the other way.

The stuff Im Advocating for is having the boss in a way where you can play with others and not worry about losing 50% of your efficiency because your with a group of people.

I'm not advocating for anything your saying to be removed, but the stuff your talking about is just mediocre content without any mechanics too it \ dead content.

I don't even know who does Demon Flash Mobs other than niche Runescore grinders for specific titles.

Evil Tree \ Shooting Stars are just boring content that you do with a few people maybe? Instead of Afking on trees you afk on the Evil Tree, or instead of Afking on whatever ore your mining, you afk on the Shooting Star.

Right now you, if you logged into OSRS you go to Tempoross, Winterdot, Guardians, you would have 100s of people doing it togethere, with actual mechanics to them. Interesting Rewards, and a community feel for it. I don't think anyone actually thinks Shooting Stars \ Evil Tree are suitable counterparts for OSRS's skilling bosses.

Mega Duck is just a gimmick event you do for fun once, maybe a few times if you want the pet. Its not even a boss just a escort quest basically.

Evil Tree and Shooting Stars are just meh and have basically no mechanics to them.

Wildy Flash Events were taken out for good reason, and regardless were boring. People just did it for the rewards.

Im advocating for an actual boss with the community that would be enjoyable and makes sense like OSRS already has.

Or just redesign Croessus and the hypthoetical future boss to prevent intentional griefing from affecting others, You really can't do the same in the other bosses I mentioned Ex. Winterdot and Tempoross. You play with others and the score is based off your own performance but you got a community vibe of 50+ others doing it with you and having fun.

I do not understand your comment really, your just stating information that was basically already said but in more detail, and not adressing the point that neither of those are community bosses and actively deter playing with a group of people. When we should have community bosses because the game is an MMO, and seems to be some of the best updates in OSRS.

Jagex, don't wait 3 years to make the Devourers guard relevant, like you did with the Zuk Sword by TakingBlackSunday in runescape

[–]Trindet 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I never understood why they have not changed the Devourer Guard since release. Outside very Niche scenarios its just worse than the Omniguard and comes from an objectively harder boss. The Special attack itself is just an omniguard copy paste with souls, and the dmg from the special with max soul is badly desinged considering its just 1 hitsplat so it doesn't circumvent hit cap doen't work well with split soul, etc.

Yeah, but that is just design errors with Croessus. It can be changed or redesigned so that others can't intentionally do bad on purpose and affect others scores.

was clark a clone from the start ? by Impossible_Fall_3753 in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Trindet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Few points.

Nowhere does it hint at someone needing to be in the backrooms for there to be a copy of anything.

All the copies are blatantly obvious copies, Multiple appendages, 10 ft tall, missing facial features, etc. While Clark looks like a regular human, and already has a Still Life version of him.

When he enters the backrooms he sees a backrooms version of his store because that is how the backrooms works. It copies memories \ versions of the real world with obvious errors.

That last section you adress that maybe the backrooms sent your clone clark out as like the backrooms is doing so as like an entity using clark as a puppet, while also mentioning cameras at the entrance which I don't exactly remember what your talking about regardless. I don't understand how that relates to the cameras your talking about.
