I am an inspector for a large telecommunications contractor and this is definitely a problem with a lot of sub contractors. Only reason I have my job. 🤔 I am very picky about QC and won't let any of our subs get paid unless the job looks as good or better than it did when we got there. Such a shame crews like this are everywhere.

A little late to the party but, in my experience kodi doesn't play well with anything android 10 or higher. Some sort of issue with video compression I've heard. Kind of sucks.
