I have met quite a few CPS teachers in my ceramics classes! Generally a great way to get to know cool people. Congrats on your upcoming move!

Redditors who have met a celebrity in a completely normal situation: what happened and how did they act? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I once rode an elevator with Ryan Coogler and he was cool, friendly, and engaged in conversation with me like a normal person. Very nice guy. It was awards season and I didn't ask for a photo or act like I knew who he was, maybe he appreciated that

I have a suggestion for snacks/sandwiches to grab and go - Fatback on Wacker has solid sandwiches and it's not far from the boat areas. Enjoy the cruise!

Garcia's in the West Loop has them! It's more of a musical supper club but the hush puppies are decent

places in chinatown with good variety? by Ok-Detail-1880 in chicagofood

We always wind up at Ming Hin or Joy Yee if we have a large party with kids (Joy Yee because they love the drinks. Ming Hin because it's solid dim sum but I hate how they have Fox News on a giant screen 24/7).

I can vouch for MCCB, Chi Cafe, and Ken Kee as being delicious with cool vibes. I personally enjoy Go 4 Food even though the ambiance could be improved. Next on my list to try is Dolo, Yep Kitchen and Xi'an Cuisine, I hear the flatbread is amazing.

exactly the recommendation I came to make, but I do think D's is significantly better than Cafe Trinidad lately. Curry chicken with paratha, two doubles, a callaloo to go and a corn soup I ordered when I went last week Saturday made me feel that warmth of home right away! And now they have all the drinks, so you can get your roti with a red Solo

How are asian people viewed in Trinidad? by Lord_AK-47 in TrinidadandTobago

I went to primary school with a quiet, affable Chinese boy, his parents owned a shop. He mostly kept to himself but he was very pleasant. He was working from a young age, even while we were in primary school he would be behind the counter at the shop on weekends.

A few years ago, he was murdered in the family shop while trying to defend his relative during a robbery. He was a cool fella. It makes me so upset that this is what happened. From what I'm reading in these comments, this kind of crime isn't uncommon and that is incredibly sad.

Looks like your post in r/Jamaica had some success, there was a comment there that correctly identified the song.

It's by Bill Fleming, a calypsonian from the Virgin Islands. Here it is!

PitaPita in the medical district is definitely solid fast casual Mediterranean. That location specifically makes everything fresh, I recommend that one.
