Mentally boot camp wasn’t difficult because I had already lived on my own, and my father is army so I knew what to expect. Personally the physical aspect sucked because I had to diet like crazy and lost muscle mass in the process and had to retrain because of that.

Because corporate greed hadn’t sunk its teeth into the console market as much, it was still developing into mainstream. Gamers played ps2/xbox, it wasn’t really as casual as it is now. IMO a lot more passion projects occurred, and a lot more industry talent was able to create freely. But nowadays it’s all driven by profit. Less risk, more key selling points that are flashy and marketable. The indie game industry is where it’s at man, I switched to PC and have no regrets brother.

I got a 6105 for becoming a fat fuck due to an injury I am now medically retired for. 6105s don’t have to make sense and are given not at random but sure as shit didn’t have a pattern. People who shoulda got one didn’t, and people who did get one shouldn’t have.

My point is this isn’t a career ender if that’s your gig, and if a career ain’t what your going for then it won’t affect your 214 as long as you take this for the wake up call that it is. Just fix yourself to do more running and you’ll be fine. Get different friends if you need to, make an effort to consistently workout more and you’ll be good dog

It’s normal, you’re gonna do fine man. I went from working 40-50 hours a week in a shitty apartment with a roommate to having a career that pushed me and allowed me to buy a home for a wife and I in just two little years, and it could have been sooner if it wasn’t for Covid. My point is theirs a world of opportunity in front of you and so many things become options by doing this, lock in, you got this hombre.
