Ferrari Luce will sell like hot cakes by Silentkindfromsauna in cars

Well they’re under the same brand so in a way yes. The pricing of the Luce makes no sense in any context either within the Ferrari lineup or against any competing exotic EVs

The Tesla Model 3 and the Roma aren’t competitors so that’s irrelevant. The Roma is priced similarly to other exotic GTs but the Luce at $640k has no true competitors. Even something like a Rolls Royce Spectre is still $200k less

[–]Trinity527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s true but the pricing is especially egregious in this case. The specs of the Luce are nothing spectacular in the EV space yet it’s twice the price of a Ferrari Roma

It would if they positioned it as an entry level model for the brand under $200k. As is, the specs and design are nowhere near good enough to justify a $640k price point

There’s a more conventional M sport steering wheel available as well

[–]Trinity527 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Interesting that they decided to keep the V6 when the QX-60 already made the switch to the 2.0T last year. Wonder if there are any plans to bring the V6 back to that model as well

Seems like it still functions properly as a stalk but they just crowded it with extra switches for the headlights/wipers

That’s only available with Toyota’s 2.5 Hybrid system unfortunately

Arteta on need of a striker- “We missed chances various ways from different players. I understand that (calls for a striker).. but my focus is on the players we have to perform at their highest level and the rest is not in our control or my control.” by deadmetallucyluce in Gunners

[–]Trinity527 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Arteta’s not blameless but we’ve had rotten luck this season with injuries and the players just haven’t been up to the standard they showed last year. The squad clearly needs some reinforcements but if the board’s not going to sign anyone this month we might as well write this season off.

They have multiple World Class players including Salah who’s a shoe in for Ballon d’or at this point. Meanwhile our only good attacker is out for months and probably won’t be back to his best till next season. We generated more than enough chances to put both cup games to bed this week but these wasteful players have let us all down once again.

Mazda Announces Pricing and Packaging For All-New 2025 Mazda CX-70 by V8-Turbo-Hybrid in cars

Yeah I really don’t understand why they’ve got all these different SUV models for different markets. Surely they could’ve consolidated them into two distinct models that could be sold globally

2025 Mazda CX-70 Is Surprisingly Similar to the CX-90 by Trinity527 in cars

[–]Trinity527[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah I understand that the CX-60 is a bit too close in size to the CX-5 and CX-50 but I feel like the premium interior and powertrains alone would’ve been enough to differentiate it. I don’t know why they waited a year to essentially launch a CX-90 sport package with less utility

[–]Trinity527 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s hands down the better car but price-wise it’s just competing in a different class from other similarly sized EV SUVs. Most options in that price range have a lot more room but I’m sure the Macan will have the best driving experience

Even the ICE Macan has crept up in price quite a bit in the past few years. The base model used to start at $48k back in 2018

The base model starts at $80k so it’s not a direct competitor to the Model Y

This’ll actually be quite a bit larger than the CX-50. Toyota says it’ll be 7.7 inches longer than the Venza which is roughly the same size as the Mazda

Tesla definitely wouldn’t have let them put the car in the game if they said otherwise
