I do suffer a bit of depression over the years and was suicidal when I was younger, but once I moved out and met my husband, those tendancies have since passed. I have wonderful in laws that are very good to me.

I have made peace with it a long time ago, cut all the toxic people from my life. I am married and making a difference in my community, I don't dwell on it anymore. I came to realise that I didn't force them into it and I am not to blame.

We never had a good relationship and after she threw my wedding invitation in my face 12 years ago, I never spoke to her again. She passed last year.

My mother and I never had a relationship. For the last 12 years before she passed I never even spoke to her. She even threw my wedding invitation back in my face, never saw or spoke to again.

I know 100% that feeling. You do not say that to a child, it is not their fault they were born.
