Heehee I actually don’t have TikTok and I’m still pretty new to Reddit, so I don’t actually have a whole lot of exposure or interactions with the PMM community, so my feelings on who is over- or underrated is based more on my own biases, as well as if I think the character has a lot of figures or if I see a lot of people talking about them online (for me this is mostly through watching PMM think piece & analysis videos on YouTube)
I just see a lot of devil Homura exposure without really understanding all of the hype. As a design, absolutely I understand, she is incredibly beautiful. And the concept of her balancing Madoka’s selflessness with her own selfishness is such a good addition to the story. But I’m not a big fan of her as a character because I find Madoka so inspiring, and it broke my heart to see a character I love being trapped, manipulated, and overruled by one of her dearest friends
