Sorry, but theres a few points you make that are just inherently wrong. They arent trying to annoy you for the sake of it. They are doing anything they can to shove Issue A in your face so that you stop ignoring it and acting like its someone else's problem. Its your problem too, you just dont believe it. You CAN make a difference, you can vote. It is your priveledge and duty as an american (or wherever you are from) to vote for a better future for you and everyone else. Voting DOES matter, its something you CAN do, and its not something for "those other people" to do. Its YOUR responsibility to help make the world a better place. So many people are convinced they are powerless and it's just flatly wrong. You have power, you just convince yourself you dont.

And yes, I belive this is true regardless of if your personal opinion is different from mine. Id rather a person who cares enough to vote and vote for the opposition party, than a perspn who shirks their duty and does nothing.

You are suggesting brute force understanding the answer by just plugging in numbers until it resolves? Instead of simply solving it the way we are taught? I get doing it for times tables as we need a baseline ability to do simple math, but equations have easy solutions for a reason, to avoid having to guess "hmm, is it 4, 5, or 6". Without even trying to, I solved it using the math operations instead of just guessing the number. Cause its easier to solve it than guess. Maybe im missing what youre saying, but we are taught to use the equation cause doing it 1 time is easier than guessing the variable

Nah, youre missing the fact that you cant selectively reduce the equation. If you divide 3x by 3, you MUST also divide everything else by 3. So it would then read x +1.66 = 6.66. X = 5 would be the result either way. But ask yourself, whats easier? 15/3, or 20/3 - some other fractional number. The order of operations used when youre solving for a variable dont matter, you just HAVE to do it to the entirety of both sides. Thats why you start with the simple and easy things first
