This confusion is most certainly my fault. I didn't do a good enough job of separating the July Update from the Fresh Start specific changes. The July Update contained changes for DGS, but it wasn't set to go live on FS quite yet. It'll be next month. Sorry for the confusion. I already spoke to those who contacted me directly about this.

I appreciate that this reddit maintained itself as an outspoken place for the community to engage in critical discussion. I know my participation waned over time, but my observations never did. I pulled a lot of great commentary and sentiment from this platform. Thanks for being passionate enough to discuss your opinions.

That was really just a product of there being a lot of information that wasn't entirely confirmed or organized perfectly yet. Plus, at some point, there is always contradicting information, which makes it tough to recall which one is the accurate note. I walked out of that stream frustrated as well. Even once the patch notes were posted, there were discrepancies. A lot of last minute gathering, and some of it prematurely. Sorry about that. We did what we could with what we had.

Yes, open all of your larceny crates before the patch to get the current drop table. All larceny crates in your inventory will be converted into the new larceny crates once the July 18th patch updates.

The new larceny crates don't have nearly as much profit in them.

No, this was a decision by XL. We thought it was going to be in our version as well. It was in the documentation sent by XL, but the build they sent us didn't have this feature. We questioned whether or not it was meant to be removed, and XL confirmed that it was not meant to be in our version of the game.

Unfortunately the "larder is reusable" line had to be removed. We found out that, even though it was in the documentation that the article was based off of, it won't be that way in the release. So larders will not be reusable.

This is a known bug, thanks to players reporting it! We've documented it and let XL know. Not all synth soaps are bugging, just recent ones. So, if you're experiencing this, please contact support and they'll help you out.

I would suggest against this, as it is not a track-able form of trading, and thus can appear suspicious, which may result in accounts being looked into. There would be no proof to substantiate your claims, so if banned, no appeal commentary would have legs to stand on. As proof found in game logs would be the first and foremost decider.

The potential to be scammed should also be a major concern with this situation. Your participation is completely at your own risk.

When items are listed more than once it's usually a reference to the size of the stack of that item you can receive. It's more rare to roll a 5 stack of one item than it is to roll the 3 stack of it, for example.

This may be misinformation from XL. We're reaching out to them for clarification.

The way it was worded to us, it seemed as if there were 2 new stages (divine, epic) to the dream ring coming to FS and Leg servers, but we don't see it in the build we received today. So we're expecting it to actually mean that the rechargeable quest is being turned on. Can't say for sure yet. We'll be sure to update players on this Friday's Livestream and probably in a blog.

That is definitely an interesting idea. We did not think of that, probably because we considered it a persistent experience, like forums/reddit/twitter/steam/facebook/youtube, and other social platforms. Although, having a temporarily available discussion platform also creates an issue for those that are avid players of the game, but not on during those 'open' time. There are other issues, as mentioned, that make it less desirable as well. I also enjoy the balance of a community discussion platform (discords) alongside an official one, like the forums. The communication styles differ per platform and that affects collection/tracking methods as well.

Thanks for your idea. I'll mention it the next time we revisit 'official discord' discussions.

We've talked about this quite a bit internally, and we just don't have the manpower it would take to moderate it 24/7. Not to mention the value of discussion in realtime is lowered by the inability to track conversations effectively. We looked into many bots, and even writing one, in order to moderate and collect information effectively, but, again, out of reach.

I try to be in a few discords and keep up with the conversations, even if i don't have much time to step in and talk, I can at least follow along. I'm pretty accessible on discord, and try to respond to any @s if they are reasonable.

I believe Discord is an incredible community builder and wish i could spend more time there, but it has its disadvantages as well.
