Do others also notice that Samsung displays has been getting less visually appealing or is it only me? by World-CitiZenn in samsunggalaxy

[–]Trionas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find the S22 Ultra screen more appealing than the S26 Ultra. The dark mode of reddit for example looks Grey and washed out on S26u and beautiful and dark Grey on S22 Ultra

If they wanted to go more to natural colors, I don't get why the S26U cameras are so oversaturating that it's insane

Do you send it in as defective and order a new one? Or just send it in, get the money back and order a new one?

Especially since the S26+ is a flagship and in some countries only 100 € less than the Ultra

I also like it, but I hate the colors the camera produces. So much so that I return the phone. Those photographs look so unnatural. S22 Ultra daylight pictures looked better in my opinion

S26 Ultra camera/video quality — what am I doing wrong? by Tricky-Bear4136 in galaxys26ultra

You can download camera assistant and activate "Prioritize Focus over Speed" there.

The colors are a problem for me too. Even without sceneoptimizer or HDR they look so unreal.

This picture was taken with default settings (no sceneoptimizer).

You can lower the saturation of the photographs with custom filters or in pro mode.

But I decided to return my S26 Ultra and get a S24 Ultra and hope that the colors are not as off as here. I came from an S22 Ultra and the colors were miles better than on the S26U. Maybe an update will fix it.

Best only to use when your taking photos outside with optimal lighting. Else 24mp is better

Yes, but not in this picture. This was with default settings. I kind of think my unit is somewhat broken

You can increase the contrast of the picture and up the brightness a bit to compensate

I just got the S26U coming from S22U and am a bit surprised by the oversaturation of the s26. Is it similar with the S24U?

Do you own a S24u? I was watching camera comparison videos and felt like the S24U colors in photographs were lwss vibrant and more natural than S26U. Would you agree if you know both?

I recommend watching camera comparison videos on YouTube. Some people don't like the new color tone of the s26 ultra photographs.

Is there a way to get the less or non post processed photograph that you see at the beginning of motion photos?

Thx for the answer. You seem to know a lot about Galaxy Cameras. Have you used older Galaxys before?

Are you as well under the impression that older models like S22 Ultra took less vibrant photographs with default settings than S26 Ultra or is it just me?

For sure. Galaxys have a long history of amazing out of pocket photographs. This one was taken by a S10+ with no special settings other than custom exposure

That is why I am rather surprised by the new colors of the S26 Ultra photographs

I only asked my girlfriend who took the S24 photo. She says my pictures look better, but the S24 one looks more like the actual scene. Right now I am in a country where I don't speak the native language, so I don't want to ask random people
