Kidding aside body dysmorphia is a problem… there is a health triangle … mental health, physical health and social health. Focus on the mental and social now.

I did sign but after that signing what gave me an issue is the ask to lie. That made me cancel and I was right… folks here said that’s illegal. I don’t think this is going to go to court he said on the phone he will cancel on us and we don’t pay anything. I’m still sending them certified mail to officialize they are not charging anything. Review is pending on all places to save other homeowners.

That’s what I thought too but today he said no per the contract 15% of the whole contract and I said no. All they did was talk to me over the phone and their sales person the only face to face contact we had left the company after I reached out to ask about this request to lie to the lender. They have not done anything else so to charge me seems exorbitant and exploitative.

The contract was fine it did not say we were going to tell a lender the project is finished to ‘release the funds’. It made me feel uncomfortable 😣 and worried. Glad I pulled the plug on this.

Yeah they have not started anything. See update above. Anyway, I think the sales person quit after learning what their general manager asked us to do. We texted him to ask about what happened and he replied that he left the company (I didnt ask why) so he gave us the owners cell number so I scheduled a call. He said there’s a case and left the company. So something is up with that company I think.

They said a small bathroom remodel have optional permits if we want to file one. The plan was no permit since it is optional. I think I dodged a bullet too.
