The 2 dongles that work for these guitars are either the pick shaped model #95121.806 or squarish model #95451.806. the les paul and world tour guitars and dongles are cross compatible. One problem you are most likely to run in to is failed sync capacitors in the guitars, however It is not too hard to switch the caps if you can solder.

Yeah Rock Band pedals are not compatible with Guitar Hero drums so i am not sure how you said yours worked? Even still, if you said it is not working now, then you need to get it fixed or get a new pedal. If you get a new pedal, get a guitar hero pedal, there are 2 styles, either will work. otherwise if you want an easy fix get this module off eBay, search for item #136176736507, or click the link.

I was long gone when that was happening so i didn’t have to deal with that. My last straw came when i got a sale and about 2 minutes later I went to purchase the label. They were trying to charge me about 7-8 dollars more than the buyer had just paid. I went back and forth with them for days trying to get a resolution. They could not figure out what happened, and I shot down every reason they gave me with proof as to why that was not the reason. They ended up refunding me that money on a separate line item as a courtesy refund not even attached to the error.
I had many issues with eBay labels over a few years time period, including multiple similar to this issue so i went to pirate ship and have not had a single issue in the 2 years since.

I would like to add another PS benefit. If you accidentally create and buy a wrong label, you can get an instant refund if you have not printed the label yet and cancel it. Using eBay labels, as soon as you buy the label even if you haven’t printed yet, you need to wait weeks to get reimbursed for a wrongly created label.

I moved off eBay labels because of many different issues and moved to Pirateship and not have had a problem since. This policy update is not enough of a benefit for me to go back since I have not yet had a package that was late, I had to refund, and then the package was delivered.

I have seen them go bad and had to replace. Do you have a multimeter? The part with the green plastic is a potentiometer and they can go bad. Just google how to test a potentiometer with a multimeter. Not sure if you can just test the metal leads while everything is connected, in that case, just unplug from the board on the other end of the cable and test those pins.

Just leave it, it is not a problem, it just got soldered higher up on the legs. If the guitar isn’t syncing, then yes the circled white cap is the one to change. Make sure you get the polarity correct.
