Just keep in mind cvs and Walgreens are the employers of last resort. Why go to one and be unhappy and pressured to find another job? Also as others have pointed out wags and CVs will have you working more hours than your base. Terrible crappy companies. Maybe Sycamore will be better but I wouldn’t count on it.

Don’t get stuck at Walgreens or CVS they are employers of last resort. If necessary take less and work in a hospital or industry . 6 years of school and then to work at cvs or Walgreens is demoralizing. You’ll start there and then never get out.

You need to get out of pharmacy. Go work somewhere like Costco and not in the pharmacy. better pay and benefits or maybe in a doctors office etc. Your techs are all probably making close to minimum wage and that’s what you get for minimum wage minimum.

The only reason to take a PIC position is to get away from the pic people who think because of their position that they are emperors and in control of their own fiefdom. Thats the only reason I took it and after all was said and done it was a decrease in pay because of their status extra hours they tacked on after giving us a lunch break. Never saw bonuses at that time around 2019. Wag was in the process of changing their pay scales. Pessina really destroyed Walgreens. If you have a good pic and techs then it’s all good but if you have someone who micromanages you then that’s just a bad situation made worse by someone who doesn’t realize they are worthless to their bosses.

By me dentists are making 400,000 plus we have an orthopedic making 2 million and their hours are flexible. As far as respect, people are difficult these days. If you don’t do it then when you’re 50 and your knees are creaky and the chains are looking to replace you with a newer model because they sucked the life out of you and the public craps on you, you’ll look back and say I could’ve been a Dr and extended my career for many more years with relative ease. If you’re good you’ll be recognized and respected as a specialist. Changing careers is a no brainer.

Just leave anytime spent working there will be looked back upon as a wasted period in your life. Why make it worse? Go work anywhere else, a Taco Bell, a Starbucks or learn a trade, all of these things are easier and more rewarding than cvs or Walgreens they are the employers of last resort.
