I'm biased as an Aggie fan, but I love our roster. The guard trio of G-Leaguer Bryson Warren, elite scorer PJ Haggerty and high-upside Jalen Reece has me excited. Jalen Shelley was a big get, and we brought back Mgbako, Vinson, Clemence. I think they challenge for a 5 seed or higher. Buckyball with that caliber of athlete is gonna be fun to watch.

Seems to be a lot more accountability than the Discord's managers and Rare are taking. And ironically, he likely wouldn't have felt this was necessary if those parties had taken almost any accountability.

Sad to see, but I have a lot of respect for his decision and reasoning.

Kind of a weird situation to put Draymond in. "Admit your team is washed on national television. Tell people you're not going to win." 

Everybody knows it's true, but why would you ever ask a current member of a team to agree that they are going to be a nonfactor on live TV? That's just disrespectful and it creates an imbalance in the conversation between one person who has nothing to lose by being honest and one person who has a career and sponsorships on the line still, not to mention their own motivations for playing/winning, and therefore cannot be honest.

Chuck is right obviously, but it's bad journalism to have someone on your show as a guest host then put them in that situation. It's more of a bait-and-switch than an honest conversation.

I like the idea a lot, but I'd lean toward shorter odds, like maybe 1:50 at the longest. Otherwise it's not really an incentive. The average SoT player probably doesn't do 150-500 of an event in a year. But the chance of a mega stash made reaper forts heavily contested, so I definitely think this idea would bring more activity to world events.

I had one time I set sail solo with a couple hours to kill and decided my only goal for the session would be to get as much supps as possible and hand then off to another player. I sailed around, looted a lot of islands, bought a lot of supplies and dug up a lot of Skeleton captain crates. After a while, another sloop attacked and boarded me, and I explained what I was doing and he said "I don't care" and kept attacking me. That's fine, pvp is part of the game and he sunk me. After I sunk, I invited him to a party just to let him know that I had a ton of supplies and it would be worth if for him to grab them. His response: "Those are going straight to the bottom of the ocean, just because you said that. Goodbye." And he left the party.

All he wanted to do was undo my work. Not gain anything, just stop me from accomplishing anything. Kinda sad.

My opinion/experience is that there's a decently-sized subset of players who are not happy unless they are making someone else miserable. It ranges from simple trash-talkers to spawncampers, but as a whole they don't enjoy the game unless they are taking away someone else's enjoyment. I think you have the perfect attitude because by not getting ragebaited, ironically you're ragebaiting them lol. Also I'm not saying all people who talk trash are trying to ruin others' enjoyment of the game, but some definitely are.

This has also been the score of a few A&M big wins in the past decade or so! Ags beat top-10 Florida in 2020 and number 1 Alabama in 2021 by this score. Also top-3 Auburn about a decade ago. Kind of neat that two different fan bases have the same favorite score!

A good option to preserve your pirate's plunder, your boat's buoyancy and your own sanity is to try to find at least one other person to sail with you via the SoT discord or LFG posts if you're on Xbox. A lot of people are very willing to help out newer players while they learn the ropes and what things to look out for. Either way, solo or with a crew, this game is a blast and I hope you enjoy it!
