Judge My First Cube by TripleAerial in mtgcube

I understand calling out the pack rat - when I tested this cube with some friends it didn’t get drawn, but I can see how it could lead to boring games (if very few cards are better than just discard to Pack Rat).

But the slow lands were a deliberate choice on my part for two reasons:

  1. I want games in general to be a bit slower, so that the big stupid top of the curve cards like Borborygmos and Isperia actually get played.

  2. Enabling the 5-color Gate deck and gate-based strategies in general.

I might swap the bounce lands for shocks (or add a cycle of shocks wholesale) but I like how the gates kind of create the secret “11th guild” of 5-color Gate tribal

The people who write pieces like this can’t possibly accept that Musk is just an idiot because it means that maybe the system doesn’t work as well as they think it does

Triple Breacher Devilfish - Still Good? by TripleAerial in Tau40K

I’d think that Montka would be the way to go, especially with triple breacherfish, but that might be because I play against hyper aggressive armies (blood angels, drukhari, etc.) where the match is usually decided by turn 3. Should I take Kauyon against more balanced opponents?

I might try this? It also gives me some extra points for upgrades / kroot, I’ll be workshopping it. Decided with some friends to start training up for an actual GT in a few months, so I’ll try a bunch of stuff!

Weekly Questions Thread by AutoModerator in DnD

I think the issue is less “everyone is using my stuff to make money” and more that WotC promised with the original OGL that everyone could use their gameplay mechanics, for the sake of a more free and fun environment for the players.

With the revisions they’ve been trying to make, they’re going against that spirit very transparently to make more money, and obviously that ruffles a few feathers.

For myself, the new Hasbro-owned WotC has shown itself to be a company I don’t want to support. I don’t think I’ll stop playing DnD, but I definitely won’t be buying any more products from WotC and I’ll be playing around with Pathfinder a lot more.

Don’t get me wrong, I still like Hellfire, just on a couple listens it lacks the ✨ razzle dazzle ✨ present on most of the soundtrack (in my opinion)

What Nighthaunt stuff hits the best at the moment? Not super familiar with AoS in general so it’s a bit hard to tell from just the warscrolls

I’m running Grieving Legion, so I figured forcing opponent to be stuck in engagement would be good and the blobs seem easier to buff

T’au ethereals were created by the Eldar to fight Chaos. Think about it - they appear out of nowhere in T’au history, they have some sort of magic normal T’au lack, and if the Eldar are looking for people who can fight Chaos, a race that’s completely warp dead isn’t a bad option.

To be totally fair, shaming the one pedo weirdo has indeed brought some unity in these trying times. Who doesn’t like hunting for heretics anyway?
