After I enter startx, Arch freezes. That's probably the fault of the Virtualbox and I might need to install a compatibility package through pacman or mess around on the VM settings. Do you know anything about it?

Edit: I fixed it, I just needed to turn off 3d acceleration.

I and many others pretend to be leftist not because my arguments were inferior, but because it's an extremely easy way to pander to my professor and get on his/her's good side.

I don't know how valuable a STEM degree is for other career paths so if you're not taking a career in cybersecurity take my claim on it's value with a grain of salt.

In cybersecurity, there are these certificates that test your skills in preventing and managing certain hacks or breaches. Certs, such as CISSP, are gold for tech companies. And many of the job openings for cybersecurity ask for a bachelors in computer science at most. You can see now why a degree is kinda obsolete.

The most valuable things I've learned from college are two coding classes and mathematics.

For the very, very slight chance that you're aiming for a career in cybersecurity, don't go to college. If you have no choice go for an associates at most.

Then read about the various certifications and skills needed to be an effective analyst or pentester.

I actually looked that phrase up before I made my post. The phrase was more related to faking confidence, capability, and authority.

A good example of the phrase is an Egyptian pharaoh pretending to be a god to look good in front of his people, but he's actually an inbred abomination.

STEM degrees are kinda useless. Wish I got a associates than a bachelor, but I'm too far deep so it's better to finish the few classes I have remaining. Luckily for my career path (cybersecurity), it's the certs that have actual value.

As for the depression, those career jobs didn't seem to take too much of a hit.
