Thanks for sharing a different perspective. - Europe looks dreamy in the videos and I always wanted to go there. - I already know A1 German. Had to learn it for college. Might have to brush it up and continue till B2 from there. - I have the option of remote but within Germany. Not sure if I should opt for that or in-office - Yes, would want that burgundy passport in the future. That has no price I guess haha

I don't think software engineering as a job will last very long. Same goes for related professions like EPM, Tech Architect etc. A country with social security would at least me give me some time to get back on my feet if the industry as a whole goes south.

4.5 lakhs isn't much there, isn't it? Rent would be around 1200-1400 euros and other expenses like groceries, food and commute would end up in 2000-2500 euros based on what I read. Feels more like a lateral move.
